  • Love how this plays up the overemphasized toxic waste scare of the 80s/90s.

  • I loved the part of the game where you had to dress up the mummy for the beauty contest. And Laverne rocking that flag, lol. #Memories

  • This needs caplock. Capslock on.

THIS IS THE BEST POINT N CLICK ADVENTURE GAME EVER CREATED EASLY.

Sam and max hits the road takes secound.

How did lucas arts turn from the best Adventure game company, into doing shitty mindless Starwars games?, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?.

    :(

  • What a load of bollox

  • It's a real shame LucasArts' internal development studio was shut down, they've really made some brilliant games.

  • amazing game from the 90s..i thought this was the future of gaming....till polygon took over and games started becoming boring. With the few exceptions of games that should be in 3d like FPSs.

BTW, Purple Tentacle must be Plankton's grandad or something huh.

  • I feel the urgent need to replay DOTT, right now...

This is easily the best LucasArts adventure ever.

  • classic era of pc gaming =p

  • I'm glad that these kind of games are having a comeback right now.

  • This game was amazing! :D

I only barely remember the guy with the glasses saying "I'm afraid I can't do that"

Or something like that whenever you tried to make him do something ridiculous.

  • THIS is a game i really want remade, i loved it as younger and i still LOVE IT! :D

  • DOTT's music are sooooooooo epic! I love them all!

    The best game ever...

  • "Now I can finish TAKING OVER THE WORLD ! HA HA HA !!!

"Oh yeah. Now I remember. He's incredibly evil, isn't he?"

    Dude, dialogues are simply amazing...

I miss this game... Can't find that taste in "next-gen" games of today...

  • #100 thank u so much for doing this

  • I think Lucasarts topped themselves on the music department when they made Grim Fandango.

  • LucasArts in her best moment.

  • This game is awesome! I liked all the dialogues, those characters are awesome

  • best fucking game ever

  • Whatever's interpreting Day of the Tentacle's music in this game makes it sound really MIDI-ish. I think the game should be played in all its Roland Glory.

  • Amazing, amazing graphic... and unique sound.

  • Great stuff. Come on, LucasArts, more adventure games please!

  • I've been listening to every track from DOTT at least once every month for the last 4 years

Whenever I'm doing an assessment for uni I start it up...

  • this game was even HARDER it's like in order to progress with bernard you would have to do something with laverne and hoagie and there was an order UGH ! SOOOOO CONFUSING ! most confusinggame i think ! BRING IT TO XBOX LIVE !

  • i never entirely beat this game :(

  • The music sounds like it's done by Danny Elfman, has the same feel to it.

  • @Infuru HEY!! you're right !! Never thought of it that way :)

  • It's not in this video, but the tentacle prison music got me SCARED the first time I heard it. It's like as if the music is telling you that you're in hell.

  • Look at the eye twiching at 02:11!! .. Hahah!

  • If this wasn't the most epic game of all time I DON'T want to know what is!

  • Holy CRAP! I've played this! I remember it, I've allways wondered what the game was dind't know it was Maniac Mansion 2!!

  • Why in Maniac Mansion 2 Bernard become botanic, and hougie become too fat metalic fan?

  • Hey Garudoh, just a bit confused here but the Music Credits in the intro sequence of the game don't match with the Music credits you've mentioned in the info box. Is there a reason for this?

  • I used the wrong source for the info, but I corrected it now. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • i like many sentences and quotes in this game :D

-bernard, float over here so i can punch you

    -AND ENSLAVE ALL HUMANITY. Whoops

    -wait! did you say BERNARD???

  • Man I played this game so much as a kid I could almost quote every line from it :(

  • Besides the technics, can anyone tell me, how the "morning" intro track is called?

I always got the answer, that it is "Morning" of the Peer Gynt Suite by Edverd Grieg. But it's not....

  • That first track is an old Swiss folk tune made famous as part of Gioachino Rossini's "William Tell Overture". The rest of the overture is pretty good too, and includes at least two other themes you'll probably recognize!

  • This is definitely not general MIDI. What is it? I'd like to make my computer sound like this.

  • It's the official Lucas soundtrack. Kinda cheated with this entry, but this is one of my favorite games ever, so I chose the spiffy tunes.

  • It's on my Top Whatever Of All Time list, too. They did so many things right and really redefined their own style with it.

  • @kermix Have you ever heard of vsts? ^^

  • @kermix

Wingroove on a Win9x kernel will work

  • The music sounds like Danny Elfman...and by that I mean good

  • Scummvm baby :)

I have this thing where I always play Dott and Sam & Max music when finishing essays in the early hours of the morning... it's my zone thinking music

  • Such a fun game. Always found Laverne funny, being all crazy & self-mutilation obsessed. Makes me wanna play some tentacle bowling again...

  • This was my first game ever and I still play it today, thank you very much for this upload. I never heard this version of the soundtrack, but damn it's good. I want it!

  • Why couldn't Lucas Art continued to make awesome Point and Click games like this, why do they abuse there star wars license and release 1 star wars game every 6months.

  • Some of the guys who used to work at LA have recently released "Vampyre Story". Check it out!

  • The good news is that Telltale Games picked up the slack, so that at the very least, fans of Sam & Max could still get a new (and ongoing, even) fix. I've been playing through Sam & Max and Strong Bad for a while now and enjoying them both.

  • I have the full speech version on my nintendo DS :P

  • I knew I heard this music before.

  • sounds awesome. yeah the xbox360 and ps3 kids will most likely miss out (unless there's re-releases of these games)

  • this game was a legend, i feel sorry for those who missed out:)

  • I remmeber being blown away by this game. It's awesome! Great sense of humour to it. ah the memories!

  • just awesome!!! love this game!!!

  • Awesome job dude.
