For those who's having a problem with rebooting/restarting their iPhone.. I was having the same problem & I found a solution somewhere around the web but it cost me to restore my iPhone and it's ok by me.

The solution is to press the home button and plug in the USB cable and keep holding the home button until iTunes opened and a message will show up.. click Ok and restore ur iPhone.

It worked for me and I thought I could share it here.

i had the same problem mate.

FIRST DONT PLUG IT IN and HOLD THE POWER BUTTON AND THE HOME BUTTON for 25 SECONDS.. THEN release the flashing will happen again. after that PLUG IT IN your computer and HOLD HOME + POWER for 30 SECONDS and itunes will restore it for you.

click the first one that comes up and then the next page will have different error codes and u pick which ones are yours...

The restore goes through and the jailbreak too but is still booting up. It's a peoblem with the mother board the best thing to do is to sell it for parts.

It stuck at the pineapple/apple logo, will reboot every so many minutes and is stuck in loop, but I cannot turn off, not with power/home, tried removing battery, tried letting it drain completely. It simply will not turn off so I can't use any tools such as iREB or DFU. Very frustrating

@m4nutd1 Well, you have to show me what's ur problem first.Cause If your iphone just like freezing and doens't turn on,you have to hold the power and home button for ten secs, release power but hold the home for 30 secs, plug into itunes after 30 and hold the power again, hold it until it in recoverymode.Then just click on itunes, restore it,then everything will be fine.If you try it the first time and it didnt work,dont worry,try it second time and everything will go smooth like an icecream.OK?
