Having recently participated in this project game under the direction of Dr. Smith-Daniels, I can state there are a lot more elements than just "building a bridge"
-the bridge must meet certain parameters, some of which aren't known until you are 1/2way thru the game
-there are building constraints that differ daily
-you only get 20 days to complete the bridge, and each day is only 2 minutes long
-building materials have different costs, availability, and load characteristics
