gilbert did write right My Kinda Party but his version to me is not to good...brantley started as a songwriter if it wasnt for Aldean doing his song he might of never been discovered and colt ford is a JOKE
@SouthernLife13511 get your facts straight. Gilbert released My Kinda Party and Dirt Road Anthem, which he is a co writer of, as "cuts" to the public, which other artists can cover. He's a songwriter and publishes songs for other to sing. Its a pretty common thing in the industry. I personally like Gilbert's versions more. And yes Blake Shelton did previously record Asphalt Cowboy, but Aldean does a pretty good job covering it.
