I was at this game in person...it was a well officiated game with lots of back and forth action and a good flow throughout...yes that out of bounds call was missed but the no call on the inbounds play was not a bad call...Belmont played the first 39 minutes of the game to win...and the last 1 minute of the game not to lose...that's why they lost...not cause of the refs...but because they got tight and nervous when they realized they had a chance to win in the final minute.

1. If you have to slow down the play, just to see whether he was in bounds or not, you really cannot blame the ref for missing it.

2. There was no shove. There was definitely a elbow to the head, but there was no shove. He was just keeping his hands on the guy so that he could tell where the guy was while still keeping his body facing the middle of the lane. Anyone who has played defense knows that.

Maybe he was watching somethin else, It looked like Greg may have tried to call timeout, maybe he was debating whether to give it to him or not. There was also another ref up the sideline, who could have also made the call if it was truly as obvious as you say. Second call, there was a lot of contact, a Duke player also goes to the ground. Belmont's inbound was still awful and the guy going to the ground had zero effect on the outcome of the play.

The problem is that there exists this attitude that duke gets every call, and then no one looks at the bad calls made against them.. They play on the road just as much as any other major conference team. Their RPI was in the top 10. The Big East was strong this year, but Duke wouldn't have been a bottom feeder in any conference.
