  • did you know in the 30's there were over 40,000 uses for hemp, it is a billion dollar cash crop that provides medicine, food, clothing, shelter, renewable FUEL, paper, lumber, and PLASTICS that are biodegradable. the lumber industry and oil companies started "reefer madness" and other propaganda to outlaw marijuana, and with that, kill the hemp industry even tho the hemp plant is the non psychoactive and contains very little THC (0.01%+/-)

  • There's probably thousand of inventions that would free us from foriegn oil and do all kinds of cool things but our present batch of politicians wanna keep us mired in shit.

  • oh yeah

  • So many Natural products can be made from Hemp which will not pollute our MOTHER EARTH, but for some CRAZY REASON, the World Governments prefer to use materials that pollute and will eventually destroy our Beautiful MOTHER EARTH which GOD created for HIS / OUR CHILDREN. BLESS

  • that's incredible!! Yeah, we should be making this NOW!

  • if we can't liberate this wonderful and most beign plant - we will NEVER liberate ourselves i.e as we giv so shall we receive...

  • I believe this is Ford Archive footage. in the 30's and 40's Henry Ford had a "secret" bio-mass facility in Michigan. Where they had created several bio-fuels. I found this, also look up the Shafer Report, a government funded study that was to help properly schedule marijuana under the Federal Narcotics Schedule, however when the study was completed, Nixon rejected the report. There is a the 1938 Popular Mechanics article "Hemp the next billion dollar crop".

    i made a 15min clip for class...

  • read the show more part everyone

  • J.Anslinger,Hearst & Dupont formerly impressed by hemp began to loss interest and, indeed pushed and won the battle to ban hemp with the Tax Act 1937. The advent of the 'Decortor' for stripping the hemp fibre from the stems, previously done by man power, a very arduous task. This would impinge upon their new business ventures in the Nylon & Plastic's industries. Read 'The Emperor Wears No Clothes' by Jack Herer.

  • does anybody know where to get this or how to make your own hemp plastic? I have a idea that I'd like to try, but I need some hemp plastic first!-Any help would be greatly appreciated...

  • yeah where is it from please?
