I just read an article on these men in the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper. WOW! Wonderful music. I then skipped over to iTunes and purchased many songs. Kudos to Turtle Island Quartet.

The only musicians I ever actually wanted autographs from. Met the guys after a concert in PA on a rainy night in a small college town. There wasn't 50 people there, but they played like it was 50,000. Talked with them after for about 15 minutes. Great bunch of guys. Hope they stay together for many years.

What a perfect sounding violist (the guy playing the melody and soloing for most of it). I saw them in San Diego for a Miles Davis tribute. Different Violist, I didn't know the original one left but they found a worthy replacement. He looked more like a bear/lion. Like a Blearion...
