ABBA sound so great LIVE. It's a pity they performed not so often LIVE in all these TV shows.

"Dick Cavett Meets ABBA" is really a fantastic TV Special. We can hear other LIVE hits like "Me And I", "Gimme Gimme Gimme" or "Two For The Price Of One".

Gives us a taster of how good their studio live performances could have been if they hadn't (like everyone else) lip-synched through the 1970's.

Shame that by the time these live shows came around, their off-stage problems had sucked the life-blood from their on-stage chemistry, play-acting and mild flirting.

The girls voices are excellent.

Everything else is just going through the motions.

They look fed-up here, even the backing band woud rather be elsewhere.

At least it looks like they're truly performing live here, not lipsynching like most of their videos.

They had great arrangements and orchestrations in the studio, but live they were rather poor because vocally they had so much overdubbing and overproduction.
