  • THANK YOU!!! If I had to sew velcro tabs ONE more time...!!!!

  • Amazing tutorial!! Very clear and well described, thank you so much. Great job

  • I was checking out the kamsnaps.com website, my question is-which size are you using? There are 4 options 14, 16, 20, and 24. And my last question is which prong length are you using? Long or the standard? Thanks so much for doing this video! Amazing!

  • @BrienBillyB8s Im using size 20. Im using standard prong lenght, but pliers also work with the long kind. For diapers just use the standard, the long prong is for thick material.

  • WOW! good job :-) thanks

  • Thanks so much for the great tutorial! My 9 month old just discovered tonight that she can pretty easily undo the velcro, so I'd like to convert to snaps pretty soon :)

  • @Kayleebob That's one of the reasons why I converted my whole stash once my daughter figure how to play with the velcro.

  • I am really interested in applying this conversion! Are you using the pocket or all-in-one diapers in this tutorial? I want snaps on the bumgenius 3.0 deluxe all-in-one cloth diapers, is that possible? I don't want to purchase them until I know for sure that this method would work with the all-in-ones. Also, have you had any problems with the snaps ripping through the cloth over time? Just wondering if some extra reinforcement would be necessary...?

Thanks for taking the time to post this!

  • @lesliegipe I'm using the 3.0 diaper, I've never done this with the AIO but I don't see why it would not work. And no, I dont have any problems with snapping falling off or anything.

  • @lesliegipe It's pretty easy to tell if it's a pocket or all-in-one... =P

  • Respond to this video... When trying to figure out which go on the tabs ("top") or the front ("bottom"), think of it this way: Men on top.

Though I suppose it can go either way and still be fully functional. =)

Great video, I'm getting ready to convert my BGs, and you seem to have a pretty easy method. One extra thought, though: no need to fold paper/diaper in half, the adjuster snaps below the velcro lines are perfectly centered on the diaper. ;)

  • This is an awesome tutorial! I am sending my Happy Heinys back to the company for the snap conversion for free...however, Bum Genius charges, so I'll be happy to do it myself. Where do you suggest purchasing the snaps and pliers kit? Love the cap with the design on it! Thank you!

  • @kaordonez You are welcome. I bought this kit at kamsnaps.com

  • this is great :) plan to do this to my bumgenius thanks for making the video

  • I am having trouble getting the snaps to fit together after I "install" them, any suggestions what I am doing wrong?

  • @cynicalbrat79

Are you using the correct dies?

  • This is a pretty good tutorial, I would like to apply the same principles to my homemade diapers, and adding in the additional sizing snaps hopefullt without issue. Thanks!

  • You're welcome! :)

  • @dollyhouse

Where did you get your snaps? I like the cute patterned ones!

  • @uschykL I got my snaps off kamsnaps.com
