@mattpn2719 firstly cuz in the studio u get many many many takes to perfect what ur playing, plus sometimes the singers layer their voices to give the song more depth. Secondly, in studio u can alter guitar sounds through pro tools (or any other program) and you have access to more effect pedals and what not, which u cant always have on tour. if u wanna see a good band live check out A7X 2008-present, their live playing is just incredible these days

@mattpn2719 and dont forget autotune too, when u release an album u want to make the best impression, most ppl who go to concert dont notice when the singer goes off key cuz they either dont have a musical ear or they having too much fun headbanging and moshing to loud music. dont be so critical i doubt u can pull off what these guys do (not right now at least), it's A LOT harder than it looks

The reason Jay screams regularly is because of Matt's case of Tonsillitis in 2008. They were better on The Poison as Matt's voice was a lot better and was able to scream, they rely on Jay to keep the band's mentality alive. They're an amazing band, my favourite at that. Just Matt cannot scream as good anymore, if he could though, they'd be freaking amazing(er). xD
