This reminds me of Sergio Kaffuffel's 1969 opus ' Santiago, We're Coming For You, You Bastard!' A very rare spaghetti western (part of the Bastard trilogy) starring Terence Puccinni as the eponymous anti hero, Santiago. It was part of a trilogy that also included, 'Santiago, You Bastard! Where's The Gold?' (1968) / ' Santiago, This Bullet's For You, You Bastard'. (1970).
oh how I love this song, this movie, these actors... when I was a child I always bombinated the melody without even knowing from wich movie or song it was.
I think the german TV ad for "Rotkäppchen-Sekt" sounds equal.
I thought the harmonica took away from the gritty sound of it. If they'd just skipped that harmonica bit and gone straight to the male chorus, would have sounded better.
But yeah, Morricone is one of the greatest composers ever, no question.
@Spunter11 Hey, just wanted to thank you, I've watched both movies, and they are great ! (I still prefer My name is nobody tough ^^)
Oh, and by the way, i downloaded My name is trinity yesterday and wasn't able to found "trinity is still my name", and guess what, this night it was on TV ! :D thanks fate.
@Spunter11 No you are wrong! They are not at all sequels to this movie! The first Trinity movie (also known as "They call me Trinity") was released 1970 in Italy and 1971 in US. The sequal "Trinity is STILL my name" came out in Italy 1971 and 1972 in US. This one was released in 1973, after both Trinity movies, with absolutely nothing in common except Terence Hill as an actor. No one else, in front or behind the camera worked on all three movies! And no, this is not a Trinity prequel either.

The only movie (I know of) that succesfully managed to combine comedy and epic without compromising both! A masterpiece...

I think that we shouldn't compare these movies. In my opinion the both movies are excellent. :)

This is definately one of Morricones funniest pieces. It's great how he uses absolutely ridiculous instruments and makes them sound epic.

The tune of the harmonica part is taken from Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries", isn't it?
