@Clientchuk Hmmm... The whole Galgenfrist is amazing. Though my favourite is "Kaldet". It's just the most cold, distant and at the same time inner music. It's the sound of my sould and the sound of the endless infinity, cosmos.
@Heollin Kaldet is like a short intro into something bigger. But yeah, that track is mesmerizing too. Nortt's new album will be out rather soon, I wonder what sort of music it will be...
@Heollin I guess Galgenfrist were the album, that is most atmosphere-based, while Ligfærd were quite similar, but didn't have the same atmospheric quality... I hope the next album will be a surprise, like all the others!
If you people would like it, i will probably try to upload, and translate all of Gudsforladt, Ligfærd and Galgenfrist. His poetic lyrics is a little bit hard, but i'll try my best.
@CubeBikez Yes, translation would be appreciated very much. Google translate produces crap and there are no decent dannish-english dictionaries that I know of. So, you get my blessing to show the world the lyrics of the Nortt's magnificent musical art ))
@Clientchuk I will probably start when I get home. Takes a lot of time, as his poetic lyrics are quite hard to translate. Because, when you translate his lyrics, there's always the direct meaning - And the poetic meaning. Maybe i'd just translate both ways. Another part is the 100 gigabytes of video I will have to upload...
@CubeBikez I think there is no need to upload all his songs again. Just make a translations and add the texts to some well-known lyrics websites, like darklyrics(dot)com
@Clientchuk Well, the uploads are not taking anywhere near the time it takes to translate. His lyrics is the equivalent of a danish shakespeare... It would be easier for me to translate swedish into english, even though I am a dane.
Done translations of 4 songs on the "Gudsforladt" album, and I won't upload them as they are now, as people would get nowhere near the full meaning of the song.
@CubeBikez I think everybody understands that they can't grasp the full meaning using the translation. Only reading and understanding the original text in Dannish will give the full beauty of his lyrics. But at least you will privide a piece of the message of his songs. And those who want will try to read and translate the original text on their own...
@Clientchuk You are right in every way. The Galgenfrist album seems quite easy to translate, though. Even while keeping most of the poetic messages. Ligfærd also, but Gudsforladt is nearly impossible to translate, without giving up the message. I get nothing out of reading my own translation. It wouldn't feel any special for someone who can't understand danish, fluently, and more to, as much of it is with old danish grammar, and vocabulary. That is what makes Nortt special.
@TheJoulupukki97 Amazing atmosphere... And i wouldn't have thought that it would be this good quality, after uploading! But well, CD-rip in WAV, and low compression on video, helps a lot.
This is the apogee of atmospheric creation that came out of the Nortt's inner world. The darkest song on Galgenfrist.
