Hmmm... What I'd like to know is why didn't Ted Kennedy attempt to save Mary Jo as his car was sinking? Many claim that he was too impaired to make a rescue. However, he managed to open his car door as it was sinking and swim to shore. Most people intoxicated to the point where they've lost their judgment and sense of morality would have a hard time just standing, yet Ted miracuously swam to shore. He must be quite talented to perform what many would see as being an impossible feat.

The diver who pulled lifeless Mary Kopechne from Ted's car at Chappaquiddick stated the girl remained alive due to an air pocket approx. 2 hours after being trapped underwater. But Ted didn't call police until AFTER her body was found next day. Ted was too worried about his damn political career and possible jail to save human life. Could you explain the statement, "died in his sins". Teddy Kennedy repented a long time ago. He live a life that was condusive to helping others. We all have dones some things in our lives that are less then honorable. And if we have a conscious we never stop reliving that. Is this man not entitle to forgiveness.

I wonder if he swam the river Stix as well as he swam Chappaquiddick?
I was unaware that Ted had been booted from Harvard for cheating and that his family (according to Pierre Salinger) paid off another Democrat to the tune of $100,00 in 1962, to keep him from running against Ted in his first primary race for the Senate. None of which I have heard about this week.

Good riddance, and I hope that special corner of Hell he's in is nice and cozy.
Now if only the media will stop with the Teddy lovefest. The guy was scum whose wealth and privilege allowed him to walk away from scandal after scandal unscathed.

It is unfortunate that Americans have sold themselves this IDEA that Capitalism will solve all their problems, when it is clear that other ideaologies have the solutions to the worlds problem. Ideaologies must therefore work together and not alone! This is why Obama is ready to here ideas from the Republicans as his ideaology will not have all the solutions for America!
