I love these boots! My only complaint is the new ventech elites. They aren't as sturdy as the previously made ones. The outside material is breaking and showing the black padding inside, and they don't keep their shape very well. I'd expect things like that after numerous trail rides over the mountain range and doing reining training 6 days a week on my mare, but I've only used them for maybe a month.
I completely agree with everything you said! I ride mostly english when I'm not on the trail but I'm still really big on leg protection cause horses aren't made to carry our weight in the first place so why not help their legs a little? I think even with flatwork there's nothing bad about boots and wraps if they're applied correctly and it's worth the 2 minutes to prevent a serious injury. Great video!! =)
Thanks for sharing! Im training my yearling colt on my own and I've been having problems with his hind legs, him kicking and such when I reach for his leg or try and fly spray him. SO I got some boots to practic putting them off and on so he gets used to having his legs handled. WAtching your video helped me figure out how to use them right!!
