I've read the article between Rizal and Ninoy, though they lived a century apart and have many differences, they also share uncanny similarities. Pareho silang adelantado na sa maiksing panahon nila sa mundo sobrang dami na nilang nagawa. They're both eloquent speakers, they used their extraordinary and superior intellects to fight rulers that oppress the Filipinos and they both chose to return to the country knowing that they will both face imminent death.

@emir0721 They're actually shot at the same time in 1987. It's just that the English version gets to be shown more often; especially during the Cory and Ramos years.

Ninoy was right when he said what he has is an indomitable spirit that will never die. He lives on everytime a freedom loving Filipino says no to tyranny and corruption. Yes, he did leave us with two letters and a word N - O, NO.

This is the image that outraged Kris Aquino; that her dad was treated like a dead animal when his body was tossed into the van! Sabagay, kung tatay mo si Ninoy, hindi ka ba maiinis sa ginawa nilang pagtrato sa katawan nya???

Ninoy and my family have 1 little connection: my younger brother was born on the exact day & year when Ninoy was assassinated. As we grew up, our family was both happy and sad on that very special day. As we celebrate my brother's birthday, we are always reminded of the sacrifices that Ninoy had offered his life for the Filipino and for the Filipino nation.

the movie" the mission" was dedicated to ninoy aquino. the director went to manila to dedicate it to him. cory was the guest of honor.

Hey kabayan! Hindi po namin sigurado kung mayroon dyan sa Bacolod na binebenta. Kung meron man, malamang sa National Bookstore (video section), Video City or Astrovision. Ang presyo nito sa Aquino Museum sa Tarlac ay nasa Php100.

Kung wala kang mahanap, i-download mo nalang ang documentary dito sa NATv. =)

I have a VCD that I bought from the Aquino Museum in 2001. It is also the scaled down version like this from NATv.

In 2005, a friend gave me a Heart & Soul DVD, and it's the full version (more than an hour long video). When I come to Manila, I'll make time to look for it from my "treasure chest", and hopefull it can be shared via YouTube.

This is the retail version of the documentary, which can be bought at the Aquino Museum in Tarlac.

The whole documentary, as far as NATv is concerned, is not for sale and can only be seen on TV during the death anniversary of Ninoy.

well, we did this docu actually 1987, mdyo crude nga quality compare 2 today's standard. Inspired kami lahat ginawa 2. Direk by Maria Montelibano,written by Teddy Benigno and narrated by da late Jose Marie Velez. Limited ang materials kaya dami naming mga sketches/illustrations dahil most of Ninoys days in Laur were not all documented. Thanks for ur reply. Appreciated it alot

Don't mention it, Sir Rey. Simple pero may dating ang dokyu na ginawa nyo despite the limited materials; if I'm not mistaken, this is the 1st "full-scale" documentary about Ninoy.

Sayang nga lang at "scaled-down" version ang meron ako; mas ok sana kung yung hour-long version ang mai-upload ko dito, which I do not have. Nung nagpunta ako sa Aquino Museum recently, they said only the "summarized" version is available.
