You can use Windows Movie Maker as long as you are simply cutting up clips and putting them together. Just don't be one of those people that thinks "oooh coole transitions" and platsers stupid ugly transition onto every cut and don't use some shitty fly in text in the default font. Don't even use text. Basically don't make the video look like a Windows Movie Maker video!

Windows Movie Maker is fine for basic vlogs. I don't use it myself, but still. Just don't use the titles or anything - simply use it to cut it up.
