You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into... the Twilight Zone.
I'd love to see how they'd do a remake of this. The whole crew of the ship would look very appealing (both the men and women) and they'd come across all kinds of creatures, such as savage beasts, mutated plants, sea monsters, giant bugs, and of course, dinosaurs ;)
man i love that movie. i wasnt even 4 years old when i bought it. to me i considered it horror cause the fact they kept talking about being rescued but little did they know they where home all along. cause of that time in space thing same for planet of the apes. i mean if ya think about it it is scary cause they are stuck on that planet forever i couldnt never sleep if i was them. but it was sad when they got drunk and where crying cause i would be sad too. but 1 of the best movies ever.

@fairyprincess246 stop motion animation was impressive and i have seen this movie three times twice on youtube and once on dvd still a good movie though
I've got this on import from the USA. The film dragged on and the acting was utter shite. But the Dinosaurs were superb. Apart from those ones with wire armatures that they shot with arrows.
@only257 Favorite dinosaur, you ask? Carnivore: deinonychus. Herbivore: ankylosaurus. Don't ya just love it when someone replies to your comment a year later? :P
I watched this move again recently, it was so bad. There was a cameraman in the background during a chase, just folding his arms and watching even though he was on camera himself!
I seriously loved this movie when I was a kid. Must have watched a hundred times. When I think of movies as a kid...this movie was tops. Along with Tremors and Legend! Haha. It was a bit dated when I began watching it...but it was pure entertainment to me! Thanks for posting this!
When I was younger, the effects blew me away and excited me, however now it seems pretty cheesy. Nevertheless, seeing this now brings back fond memories and, wut wasn't noticed before, a greater appreciation for the scantily clad women.
the stop motion is by far the most impresive part. i have that image of the ceratopsian stabbing the guy on the cliff ingraved in my head. memories :)
Just a bit of trivia for you guys. One of the dinosaurs that appears briefly and is killed by the T-rex is the Redosarous from Beast From 20,000 Fathoms!

I bet the spider was by all means, the freakest part of the movie. It makes the T-Rex look like Grumpy from LAND OF THE LOST (the 70's version).

@MattBL that spider is probably the reason most of us have arachnophobia.
