Saying Scientology is a "cult" is an opinion, not a fact. The United States government recognizes Scientology as a tex-exempt religious organization. That's a fact, not an opinion. I would recommend a close examination of the differences between the two.

Theravada Buddhism lets you believe in what ever god you want. As for Catholicism, they don't. So... technically you couldn't because of the latter, but you could be Buddhist and have another belief system. Buddhism more or less involves practices and point of view. Zen Buddhism on the other hand... Sh*t, might as well whack yourself in the face everyday with a stick.
Fair enough, but if it only works one way then it can't work. Both religions would have to be incorporated into each other without antagonism between the core beliefs. You may be able to take aspects of Buddhism and incorporate them into Christianity (introspective enlightenment could be translated as "take the plank out of your own eye", etc and vice versa) but taking hints from other religions doesn't a follower of either one (or both!) make.

Whilst both are essentially unfounded in their claims, christianity has the advantage of age, christianity effectively began when christ died... and whether he was a profit or not doesn't matter, there's at least a chance it's true. scientology however started this century, and was started by a scifi writer. You don't have to like religion, but scientologists are insane, and it's pretty obvious. I suggest not getting so emotionally invested in your viewpoint before stating it.

Saying Scientology is a "cult" is an opinion, not a fact. The United States government recognizes Scientology as a tex-exempt religious organization. That's a fact, not an opinion. I would recommend a close examination of the differences between the two.

Theravada Buddhism lets you believe in what ever god you want. As for Catholicism, they don't. So... technically you couldn't because of the latter, but you could be Buddhist and have another belief system. Buddhism more or less involves practices and point of view. Zen Buddhism on the other hand... Sh*t, might as well whack yourself in the face everyday with a stick.

Fair enough, but if it only works one way then it can't work. Both religions would have to be incorporated into each other without antagonism between the core beliefs. You may be able to take aspects of Buddhism and incorporate them into Christianity (introspective enlightenment could be translated as "take the plank out of your own eye", etc and vice versa) but taking hints from other religions doesn't a follower of either one (or both!) make.

Everything you just stated is opinion. I called the Celebrity Center in L.A. and asked them directly how much an auditing session costs.
"Auditing starts at $3 a session which is mostly to pay for the cost of the e-meter. Auditors themselves are on a volunteer basis. There are other courses which start at about $17 a seminar and can range up to $71 a seminar for some of the higher level networking and casting sessions."
Here's a hint - do research, then speak. You'll look less foolish.
