  • In Tennessee this is illegal unless you work for a construction company. Which sucks.

  • @sqhschief No its not.I lived in West TN for all of my life until recently..I had Amber Leds all over my pickup to use for storm spotting and chasing..Not illegal at all

  • @ki4jmj TCA 55-9-402(a)(1) No nonemergency vehicle shall operate or install emergency flashing light systems, such as strobe, wig-wag, or other flashing lights within the headlight assembly or grill area of the vehicle. TCA 55-9-402(b)(1) No non-emergency vehicle shall operate or install emergency flashing light systems such as strobe, wig-wag, or other flashing lights in tail light lamp, stoplight area, or factory installed emergency flasher and backup light area. That's what I'm referring to.

  • @sqhschief I had no problems with law enforcement in West TN about my dashlight or my surface mount lights...To err on the side of caution I wouldnt use them unless you are stopped

  • @ki4jmj So it sounds like it might not be illegal to install them in the window areas, but I'm not sure.

  • thats cool. i want some in red blue but only for my DRIVEWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! iv been in jail 3 times dont want to go back

  • Red and blue... you might be asking for some trouble (at least a little bit!). LOL.

  • ive made a video of the lights in day and night

  • as a owner of jetta and fan volkswagen and it house.. this is the most stuped thing i have ever seen in my life..

  • this would've been a great insult...too bad you spelled-

    stupid

    -wrong

  • Good catch.

    This muffinhead spelled stupid wrong

    ROFLMAO (stupid!!!)

  • haha thats why i like illinois completely legal to have amber no matter what u use them for lol but idc i can legally have blue which is way better just look at my vid haha

  • I looked at your vid and agree! Those blue lights are very nice. You are right. Way better than the amber. Are you kidding - they are completely legal in IL even in privately owned vehicles?

  • Yes in IL Amber lights are completely legal in POV's. You dont need any explanation at all as to why you have the if a cop asks you. I used to have Amber and i got pulled over three times cause of them (cause they were LED) and just showed then they were amber and they left me alone

  • ugly and gay....

  • Just wondering how you wired these to run together simultaneously? Thanks..

  • Dual car power outlet!!! Dual power supply cigarette lighter splitter for electronic gadgets. You need 2 plugs anyway, since it's two separate units - then when you plug the splitter in, both Slim Misers run together.

  • cool man thats what i thought, thanks

  • Again, hazard lights exist on cars for a reason. If they weren't enough for the average driver, then the factories would change the way they work. The average person doesn't need emergency equipment grade rear deck lights for 'hazard" lights.

  • I have "confiscated them" and transplanted them into my Go Mango. Never use them on the road, but love to turn them on momentarily for show.

  • I am looking to do the exact same thing for my car, the slim miser looks discreet, cheap yet bright. I want to synchronize them to the exact same way as you did... how do I do this is it an effective set up.. or should I go for a brighter light?

  • Hazard lights are already installed, easier to use, and legal.

  • Depending on the laws in your state, it's legal to use amber led's in an emergency situation, like in when you break down.
