Looks like it could be second Tilke circuit to be any good (after India) with the remake of Silverstone's Becketts complex, with some extra corners at the end. A remake of Istanbul's Turn 8 (the 4 fast left handers) and it looks like they could be right handers instead. Also got Hockenheim's infield stadium section I CANT WAIT

@Somai82 real basic I noticed, not much of an elevation change and scenery is over the top. Seems person that made the track doesn't know much about the landscape there at the track site or seen the master plan.

Lets keep this light. Keep the discussions and personal opinions to the forums :) This was meant more as a visual aid then a discussion board when I made this video; which reminds me, wouldn't hurt to do some updating I suppose :)

However there's some people making the track for r-factor and mainly for the F1 mods. I'd like to race this with some "Sports car" series cars from 80's & 90's WSC, ALMS, and current FIA GT series!
i like there actually making a track in america than just taking an oval tracks road coarse layout. im liking this formula one but i think the one problem is that its not super unique in a way it cops the way hockenhiem and abu dhabi. abu dhabi is like my favorite circuit but i dont like the hockenheim. and i think they should of put it in somewhere in California. but anyways love that there doing this.

So pumped to finally have f1 back in the US!!! But to be completely honest I never would have thought it would be in TX. I guess I just figured there wouldnt b much of an f1 following in the south but wtv I'm just glad it's bein built
@Jdmbeast95 You're telling me...I'm a lifelong Austinite, and my first reaction was "...uh, what?" Austin is VERY different from the rest of Texas, which I guess is why F1 sorta makes sense here. We do have a proportionally large hot rod scene, but its usually masked by the live music & "green" reputation of the city. I swear at one time we had more 700hp+ Supras per capita than any other city in Texas :-P, Longhorn Round Up shuts down Congress Ave. with hot rods & rat rods.
@almafi1995 I like Abu Dhabi and South Korean tracks especially because they have more clearly defined overtaking spots and they have same amount of aerodynamic corners as well as mechanic.
Track looks great, hospitality looks great, Austin looks great, as a UK fan this should now top Australia for the best F1 holiday of the year. Been looking to holiday in Texas now I can confirm my dates, see y'all soon.
FYI: Since I got asked this alot, why the "bouncy" cam.....well not completely familiar with the "wonky" controls of GE. Yet, wanted to give a wide preview of the map from different angles in order to get an idea of terrain as a whole than focus on one part. I'll have more as this project progresses, not to mention some better visual concepts.
I left a video response showing the track on rfactor hopefully hel accept it, if not look on my channel

There is a beta out on rFactor..typical Tilke design..a bit of everything. The first blind corners after the looooong straight is pretty cool.
