I am actually a 20 year college student who is voting for McCain. I am slammed in class to vote liberal and I think that you are right that the media slams us(college students) as well... just watch SNL or anything on MTV or VH1... but I don't think it is fair to say we shouldn't be allowed to vote. And that the right to become is the right from which all other rights are derived. But does that realy end the argument?

Actually as early as 2 weeks the brain is developed enough to control autonomic functions within the body. obtains a heartbeat shortly after. Just because the fetus isn't out of the womb doesn't negate the fact that it recognizes itself as alive. I watched an abortion once on this research website and it was awful. The fetus was maybe a month but it was trying to escape from the vacum tube they use to abort it. Teh fetus was alive and had cognitive ablities.
