There's supposed to be six classes, aren't there? I heard they were fighter, theif, black belt, white mage, red mage, and black mage?

Yeah, but there's a point in the game where you can upgrade your classes.

Fighter/Warrior -> Knight (Gains low level White magic)

Thief -> Ninja (Gains low level Black magic)

Black Belt/Monk -> Master (No real bonus besides the new sprite)

White Mage -> White Wizard (Access to all white magic tiers)

Red Mage -> Red Wizard (Increased spell access)

Black Mage -> Black Wizard (Access to all black magic tiers)

Head northwest until you see a dock by a town. If you've gotten to Melmond, then you're in the right place. Talk to the people there, you should be able to figure the rest out from there. Hope this helps =p

no fool . kraken is in the sunken shrine . the lifespring grotto isnt until you beat kraken.
