When the Turbo light comes on does that mean it's at the point where it's making boost? If so that's pretty impressive for a small Turbo to make boost at 2700 rpm right?

Some people just are not informed or have experience with the Turbo Sprint. They are fast, get high MPG's, and reliable as well. 1670 lbs and a strong intercooled turbo makes for a V8 like ride. I am getting over 40 mpg on the freeway, and 36 with lots of city driving and launching at every light
with me driving with a lead foot ill only gets about 26mpg but if im easy on it it would probley still get 30+. but its no longer a 17sec car it ran a 14.69 this summer at P.I.R.
the ford festiva dont make 120 hp and 123 ft/lbs of torque to the wheels. this car makes that with a slipping clutch rough tune old plugs fixed timing and a tiny intercooler. 120 is just a base line. this vid. is the car the day i broke it in @ 8lbs of boost and stock ecm. it might be making 70hp or less in the vid. stock 87 turbo chev sprint ran in the 16's btw with the little 3cyl. so please do some research before you say that just because it is a 3cyl it has less power then a festiva.
dude, it was just a damn joke. becouse our kubota lawn and garden tractor has a 3 cyl deisel engine that would probley fit in a chevy sprint. even tho it would probley be less HP but it'd have more torque and power since its deisel. i wasnt hating or anything. it was just a joke. none of you youtube people can take these things called jokes i guess.
its kind of hard to distinguish joke form "hating" lol you just cant tell how it is being said. if i could have put a turbo diesel in it i would have. there is plenty of different gear options when it comes to transmissions.
plans for the car are low 14sec. 1/4 mi. times. maybe even 13s so i can pick on a lot of ricers.
whats a ricer? are you reffering to those big can exhausts kids put on there honda civics? i dont have one tho so i wouldnt know lol. i drive a 89' ford thunderbird.
turbintech sells the tdo4 turbo kit with stainless header like this car has. fuel management is the hard part. my car it is multiport. you can run up to 8lbs on the stock airflow meter (without tweaking the maf) but if it is tbi then you have to build a custom ecm. the car runs on a mega squirt now and ill be running about 20lbs of boost on it.yes it is a custom ecm. the stock turbo engines can take a lot of boost but the n/a engines i think only take 14 or 18 if you want it to survive.

it was at 8psi stock ecm everything. car didnt get faster till the megasquirt i have better vids up now
