The Mustang with the 5 liter can easily keep up if not beat this car --- and don't even compare the quality of a BMW or a Mercedes AMG . they are both faster .

This was a great car for the money --- but easily replaced by the new Camaro

.The upcoming Z-28 should be a good car unless GM over -prices it into Corvette territory .

Yea the gxp will surely get @ an srt8, especially the charger. That charger is heavier and has less hp! But when u matching cars up like that, especially with so much power then it depends on the driver. I love this car but the MPG is a killer. Only buy this car for the weekends, not for everyday use. For everyday use buy a Honda. I would certainly buy this car for cruising reasons only due to being so good looking and fast. The camaro is cool too, but I have kids and somtimes i would need to transport them.

Yes the G8 is basically the Commodore you see in AUS made by Holden. It uses the same Zeta platform. The only real difference is some body panels are designed different and the G8's uses GM LS series engines. Other then that...its the same car.
