I guess the current crisis is by far not deep enough for the brainwashed US conusmerists to realize that buying stuff is not the purpose of life.... They all hold bibles and go to church but in fact they worship the dollar..... it is sad......
if people go out on black friday ur only gonna get swine flu and a giant head ache from all the stupid people trying to bust the doors down at 5 am and btw door busters are all cheap stuff that half of them will get returned and the stoore will be loosing money so people waight till 8 o clock and then go shopping ohh bring a gallon of hand sanitizer and a box of masks and ull be ok lol
well said my friends, i'm not sure what will happen with the way the economy has been, we hear on the news that we are coming out of this recession but when you look around and see store fronts closed and the folks who got laid off and are still looking for work, if people are not working then they are not spending which is suppose to help boost our economy, i don't know, time will tell.
No chance the recession is over.... it is just an uptick, if any, where would the recovery come from? No domestic savings, no real competitive production, all money gone to banks and Wall Street and above all a huge debt which can not be paid back this way only by printing money and destroying the dollar...... the worst is yet to come......
the last market report that i had heard which was last week they where low but steady, but i will get back with you on that Andy as soon as i listen to this weeks futures.
The government in the US does think money grows on tress. And I don't care, democrat or republican, they all spend. You can say one spends more than the other, but the truth is, they both spend the same amount when you look through the years.
We'll never make that money up. The problem is there will be a WORLD collapse if something isn't done soon. I'm tired of hearing government reports that sugar is bad in cereal for kids... So what, is that what money will be spent on??
Great report...I think your cat wants to do a video... Is he always saying things ? I can do conversations with my cat " its so funny...But i think he s a conspiracy nut... : )
hello from Texas, as always thank you for providing all of us a summary of the current economic situation. As for a second downturn our traitorous president Obama has already said this 'might' happen and so we can all expect the banks will conspire with him to do just that. Obama would like us to think he is a sage and a savior but he is a liar and manipulator to those that choose to remain ignorant or ill informed. If the father of the lie is Satan, then Obama is his favored son.
There was a run on some banks in California earlier in the year. People didn't get killed but they were pissed. As for black friday sales and such, I know someone who "used to" go to events like that until they realized the stores stocked minimal quantities of very popular items, advertised those items to get the crowds all to get customers in the store. If they had intentions of selling a lot of those items they would stock a lot of those items. This has been going on many years so it's not new
Your point is so right. They risk arrest/tasering and in the end its for a hard to find job or a hard to live wage.
The only way to protest is to take less then a full time schedule and to have a mass early with drawl from courses to show them they control the money not buy waving signs and throwing stuff at cops.
Glad ya got vid to post Youtube has problems during peak hours sometimes it takes a while for vids to load when i watch them even with a high speed conection Good vid
Well said Christmas "the birth of Jesus Christ" has seemingly turned into a monopoly. It seems to be a corporate free for all. Yea lets all go to walmart and buy some cheap made china made junk and ruin the U.S. lol Seriously its just sad. Moral values and family are becoming a thing of the past :(.
CNBC and most of the networks, aren't living in the real world in my opinion. It is NO good here at all where I live. We are talking relocation for a better job for my husband. I do not think the recession is anywhere near over with....
That movie "the end of suburbia" is the main reason I moved my job from fixing garbage trucks and RV's to fixing transit buses for the county. It's also why I started a modest effort to get less dependent on oil in my personal life, like buying my electric bicycle. Once I found out about the economic collapse (back in 2007) I discovered that my peak oil adaptations had already partly prepared me for the economic collapse. In the midst of all this bad luck, I guess you could call that lucky.
right now in canada we are getting boxing day like sales right now to get people to buy, it will be interesting to see how well they attract sales thats a pretty bad indication if they are cutting prices dramatically
Your hair frightens and confuses me.
