  • Think its nice you responded to everyone, that deserves a thumbs up :D

  • Thanks for posting @bennythebearful.

  • 300 yards is only 270m, why would I want to lose distance?

  • Agreed.

  • im sorry, 1.3 million views.. for that...

  • Thanks for posting @spinmilled64.

We've actually had over 10 million views but this is only YouTube views.

  • @scoremore05 ok lol

  • understand golf is a very hard game 2 play lot of people thinks its for quers and fagets only one thing i got 2 say is go buy a set of clubs you will find out how hard the game is .........

  • @lowrider949 errr whats a quer or a faget, those little red lines mean something

  • Fucking Robocop!

  • Thanks for posting @moodini99.

  • You could still slice the shit out of a ball like that...that thing won't teach transition..

  • Absolutely you could @JCook3123 but it is very difficult to slice using this move.

To tell you the truth, that's actually the downside to this move. It's very difficult to slice the ball.

Now that's great for almost everyone but sometimes you do want to work the ball to the right and not just hit straight or a draw.

  • mate your arms swang

  • Thanks for posting @TheAlfmister101. See comment below.

  • Your arms did swing...

  • Thanks for posting @baldeagle1195. See comment below.

  • He's arms move bullshittt

  • Thanks for posting @Romband1919. Nobody questioned whether they moved. See comment below.

  • He swug his arms... what am i missing?

  • Thanks for posting @happyninslave. He moved his shoulders and body, that's what you're missing. The arms only moved because they are attached to his arms and body.

  • i try this at the range, but everytime my arms move...

  • Thanks for posting @ps3codman. Sounds like you are doing it right.

Your arms are supposed to move but not because you are directly moving them. They move because they are attached to your shoulders and you are moving your shoulders. Big difference and a powerful one for those who figure it out.

  • I got mine today. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try it out because the friggin driving range wasn't open even though it was supposed to. X(

One other thing. I watched the dvd, in it you didn't mention the push-pull method, I'm just wondering why?

  • Thanks for posting @MrStocksw and excellent comment. The PullPush is the most unorthodox of the three simplified moves we provided but a ton of people sure love it.

We left it off the dvd but provided extra info on it at the taly dot com site.

  • Gimmick! There is no substitution for long hours on the practice range. The secret's in the dirt.

  • Thanks for posting @RK831.

  • For Goodness Sake People quit with the negative feedback. This is a great tool! It teaches the Physics to the brain immediately. Just imagining this device strapped to your arm would improve 90% of you ranters games. Quit with the jealousy, humbly try it if only imagined, acknowledge the inventor, then go enjoy shots like you've never before experienced! I thought you were searching YouTube for tips to help your game? Sometimes the simplest are the most profound! Should also save you quite a fe

  • Great post @golfwithgrace and I also saw your video. Nice! I liked where you were headed with all that.

  • MASHED POTATOES!!!!

  • @elkinsinboxinc I see what you did there...

  • wasn't tencup wearing that same shit in that movie?

  • No, it would have spoiled the movie. But thanks for posting.

  • This is clearly the BEST demonstration of the golf swing I have come across so far!! It shows what one has to do to make the rest of the body become submissive to the brain. Every body movement becomes subject to one thing only...POWER! Thank for the posting! The BEST!! Ben Hogan said that golf was played on a four inch course--the distance between your ears--and the secret was in the dirt. Well done.

  • Whoa! Great post @idahoboy41. You got it.

We are just trying to show golfers what's the least you have to do in a golf swing while still being able to generate power.

A lot of other things are HAPPENING in this move, but they happen on their own and in the proper sequence when you simply get out of the way and stop thinking about so many different components.

  • The way I see it is , whatever works, works. Everyone is set-up different. Everyone's swing Is a little different. So if it works for him, then go for it bro. Don't mind the people who are giving you crap about this. It's these people who are weak or jealous, people are always scared of what's different.

  • Thanks for posting @jfj1225. You're right. It's just an alternative for those who are interested.

  • None of the hall of famers used all of this crap. Wearing this gadget, people want be asking; what's your handicap but are you handicap:)

  • Thanks for posting @BayouHotBoy1.

In my experience, they ask you how do you it is so far when you don't look like you are doing much.

  • the body swing is the way forward for most people, unless your mega talented! i can point to so many top flight pro's who use the rotation as 90% of their swing lee westwood for one.

  • Excellent point @fradaja.

  • Useless.. Find a good pro and take some lessons people..

  • Thanks for posting @TABWISH.

  • this is how you ruin a sport.... if they needed a machine to do it, they'd get one.

  • Thanks for posting @wygram.

  • golf is full of gimmicks

  • And great tools. Thanks for posting @littlec916.

  • Thanks for posting @ABshookme.

  • Comment removed

  • well yeah but there's a little more to hitting a 300 yard drive then that. Swing speed, 460 club head and hitting the fairway too.

  • Thanks for posting @sniffy45. All taken care of once you've addressed your golf ball correctly.

  • @scoremore05 Please,......

  • SOME ONE IS A LITTLE TOO MECHANICAL. WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE USING THESE DEVICES AND GADGETS TO TRY AND GET BETTER? ALOT OF THE TIME THEY ARE MORE OF A HINDERANCE THAN A HELP. TOO MANY THOUGHTS GOING AROUND IN YOUR HEAD. JUST SWING THE CLUB AND BE SURE TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE BALL. FORGET ALL THAT MUMBO JUMBO OF THIS IS THE RIGHT POSTURE THIS IS THE RIGHT GRIP ETC JUST PLAY THE GAME NATURALLY AND HAVE FUN!!!

  • Or just move the red ball. Thanks for posting @gunnerforever89.

  • Thanks for posting this. I just learned something and I'm a old golfer. I wish I knew where I could found one of those.

  • Thanks for posting @ABshookme. Visit us as the taly website.

  • What a i repeat WHAT A CROCK OFF SHITE!!!!!!

  • is this Hillcrest Country Club?

  • Thanks for posting @theusedish.

  • That title is so misleading.

  • Thanks for posting @carnagedaniel. How were you misled?

  • @scoremore05 Because it says without swinging your arms, he clearly swung his arms

  • was that not a swing?

  • Thanks for posting @faded2blak.

  • My swing is better than that........

  • Thanks for posting @threestripes333

  • FOR GOD SAKES TAKE THAT SHIT OFF AND SHOOT A SCORE.....

  • Good point @QuotaPBaby. That's actually my next video.

When you do take off the taly mind set, the red ball becomes a mental reference point that golfers can use while out on the course.

That helps overcome one of the hardest things to do in golf which is to transfer your game from the driving range to the course.

  • @scoremore05 i wont hate either the swing looks good .. the only reason i said what i said is 1 . im a asshole.. 2.. i have a great swing , pga tour style .. ..sometimes i find myself hitting golf shots on the course instead of scoring.. when i have swinging in my brain i hit pure shots with no score.. when i think score .. i dont even hit the ball good i just score... u should by my new single " straight to the pga"

  • @scoremore05 dork

  • The thing people fail to either realize or accept, the driver sets up the rest of the shots and putts. I'ts really hard to recover after a weak drive.

  • Thanks for posting @davethebaberuth.

  • @davethebaberuth i think any idiot thats played golf has realized this

  • @davethebaberuth true , but not on a par 3

  • @davethebaberuth true unless you're tiger a few years ago, or you have any decent scoring game fundamentals. But as for the average everyday golfer this is a very accurate assessment.

  • Verbal descriptions lack all information. He is showing how the swing primarily occurs from the rotation of the spine. his arms may move somehwat relative to the spine, but not very much. This is a very fine and useful golf swing instructional video, and I would like to thank Taly for his time and trouble providing this to us.

  • Thanks for posting @mrbusapp. Excellent explanation.

It's simiply an alternative for golfers who aren't having success with some of the other techniques.

Most golfers stop their engine as they are coming into impact and simply let the arms fly ahead.

When a golfer commits to only powering their golf swing by turning, it forces them to keep their engine moving through impact. Otherwise their arms would never make it to the ball.

  • I saw your arms....and they we're swinging.

  • Thanks for posting @MWolverine1969.

I was there and I didn't swing them.

I held them stationary relative to my chest into impact and focused on turning such that the red ball passed over the golf ball.

  • The point of the video is that he hit it 300 yards

  • Thanks for posting @foshizzelman.

  • do u think ur a pro i could do that with 1 hand 400 yrds no joke everytime

  • Teach me @bassglx. That way I'll have something in my back pocket for those that want 400 yards.

  • 0:11 Shoulders turned. Hips turned. Arms naturally lifted (swung). Wrists cocked. Message ends.

  • Thanks for posting @dolfinack.

It sounds like you are saying that I am swinging my arms but I am not sure. You mentioned something about them naturally lifting.

If you are referring to the reset position where I point the red ball behind me and parallel to the target line, that's not only not swinging, I haven't even started my move yet.

  • nice swing!!! where did you get that training aid?

  • @Strgchris He made it himself.

  • Thanks for posting @Strgchris.

We are an engineering firm and we developed this product.

If you get a chance, visit us at the TALY website.

  • terrible video

  • Thanks for posting @brianb61911.

  • I got my Taly Mindset last week. After only one brief session with it my ball striking has improved greatly. Thanks.

  • Thanks for sharing @ichihentai.

  • omg did you see his arms? he didnt even swing them!!!

  • @ravendwa007 of course he is turning his shoulders , that's a key component to every swing. They turn 90 degrees away from the target on every back swing. He starts his swing with his legs from the ground up. Ideal for every full swing.

  • Thanks for posting @Halloran752.

  • This works great, I practiced for an hour. 11 handicap, 275 yd avg drive when I DON'T SLICE, which this eliminates.

  • Thanks for posting @Halloran752.

  • These negative comments illustrate why most people are, and will remain, hackers. The left wrist flat and leading through impact, rotating the body to generate the centrifugal force (power) is essential to a quality golf swing. This is a good tool to help one achieve that swing. It is easy to talk about but hard to do.

  • @ichihentai

I second that. thousands of hours of practice. I've played for 17 years and now I'm finally breaking 80 consistently. Shot a 78 today.

  • Thanks for posting @ichihentai.

  • I love how all these videos say "300 yards [doing something stupid]" and dont even show the ball go 300

  • Thanks for posting @thisishorseshit72.

Some golfers can tell just by watching a golf ball leave but if you want the proof, visit the TALY dotcom website where the results are posted.

  • that was crushed lets be honest

  • Thanks for posting @Sbrannashark.

  • hahaha lo 0:18

  • Thanks for posting @immortal1612.

  • @scoremore05 your welcome

  • Where can I get that contraption on your left arm? I want one. Thanks. Nice video. Very simple.

  • Thanks for posting @unscratch.

    Visit the TALY dotcom website.

  • how can you prove that is 300 yards?

  • Thanks for posting @MaccaGoalkeeping.

It's very easy these days with all the GPS devices on golf carts but we also got tested. Visit the TALY site for the results.

  • who gives a damn about all this physics mumbo jumbo!? y'all just need to get off your computer and go to the range .

  • Good point @seagullacoostix1. I'm headed there now.

  • @seagullacoostix1 So why did you come and watch this video ?

  • @seagullacoostix1 dumbass

  • @Humperdink18 You my friend are a fool! His arms may move, however they quite clearly don't swing, because they are just an attachment of his swinging shoulders, like a seat on a bus, or are you going to try and tell me that a seat on a bus is not stationary?

  • Slice city. Hands well behind ball like that creates slice spin.

  • Thanks for posting @logsandtimber.

Care to share why you believe your statement to be true?

  • Hi @mousepad99. For some reason people reword what I say and then get fired up about it.

You first say that my arms are moving. I can agree with that, but it's not what I said.

You then say "you see a swing, including arms". Ok I can sort of agree with that. Arms are included and yes it is a golf swing.

Impacting a golf ball can be very difficult and it would benefit golfers to simply try what I am saying before knocking it. There's a big difference between swinging and not swinging.

  • Arms moving independent of chest and body adds a tremendous amount of complication to your golf swing which requires much practice to perfect.

If golfers want an alternative, they can try what I have suggested.

Now most golfers don't follow the alignments I have suggested and do a version of "not swinging your arms" and it is stiff and not very powerful.

However, if they put everything on plane as I have shown, they would get a much different result. Simple, repeatable, and powerful.

  • Thanks for posting @mousepad99.

Yes, my arms are moving. We can agree on that point.

  • Mistitled. Misleading. Misunderstood. Mislabeled. Just plain missing.

  • bs , you really can't turn your shoulders without swinging the arms. If the arms were attached with bearings ala the swing machine this might be possible, but humans aren't machines. If this concept were true, baseball pitchers would never ever need arm surgery, just use your shoulders. BS.

  • Thanks for posting @Zen999the.

No I don't promote this move for baseball pitchers but absolutely you can throw a baseball by only turning your shoulders.

And a major factor that you're not considering is that you can leverage a golf shaft very differently than you can leverage your arm.

All we need to do is get our club shaft to load and simply turning can cause that.

We don't need to then swing our arms. You can if you want, but it's not necessary for a repeatable and powerful move.

  • bs

  • If anything you are going to block it right..

  • Or hit a nice draw @bairdieboi.

    Thanks for posting.

  • What do you think you're doing with your arms in this video if not "swinging" them?

  • I know what I am doing with them @Humperdink18. I am holding my arms stationary relative to my chest in order to impact the golf ball and transfer a tremendous amount of energy.

  • @scoremore05 Stationary?? Stationary? Did you know that stationary means "NOT MOVING" and "having NO apparent motion?" Maybe you need to watch your own videos again. Your arms aren't stationary in relation to anything at all, let alone your chest.

  • Thanks for posting @Humperdink18 but yes I am holding my arms stationary (relative to my chest).

Einstein's theory of relativity basically simplifies to "it's all relative". Just because something is "stationary", doesn't mean that it is not moving.

If you get on a bus and stand still as it drives down the street. Are you moving? Someone on the bus might say no but someone on the sidewalk may say you're moving.

I am holding my arms stationary into impact. But I'm turning my shoulders.

  • @scoremore05 Idiot, you are exactly wrong about everything you just said. If you really want to talk physics, which I doubt you do, I would be more than happy to. I cannot believe how ridiculously ironic your comment is! It's amazing! Did you know that Einstein actually used the EXACT SAME analogy that you used to say the EXACT OPPOSITE of what you said!??!?! When Einstein introduced his treatise on "Special Relativity," his point was that the man sitting on the moving bus IS moving

  • You're correct @Humperdink18 and there's no need to call names. A couple of points are being combined here.

Are my arms moving? Yes. Are they then not stationary? Yes. I"m just trying to simplify and explain what a person feels.

And wrt relativity and being on the bus, I do understand. But I wasn't looking to argue about whether a person is moving. Or the bus is moving or the bus is still and outside is moving.

The point was that things appear differently dependent upon perspective.

  • @scoremore05 That concept alone is what led to our understanding of contemporary physics and cosmology. A man walking up the aisle of a bus @ 1 MPH while on the bus is traveling 45 MPH is moving 46 MPH. He's not stationary at all! I suggest you read up on Dr. Einstein before you try to construct a phyiscs model.

Finally, even if I accepted your stupid idea, your arms are still NOT stationary even when just considering your chest. They bend at the elbow and wrist. Watch the video.

  • And yes I agree with what you say here about a man moving at 1 MPH is actually moving at 46 MPH but you are missing my point.

If Bill and I were on the bus and I asked him to remain stationary. He would stop and not move. And we would understand each other.

If you and I were on the bus and I asked you to be stationary, you would run backwards at 45 MPH. I get it but you are missing my point. That is not the way people speak.

  • @scoremore05

Your turning your shoulders, but if you turn the shoulders first on the downswing that leads to a nasty hook. The hips start the downswing, shoulders, then arms.

  • I went out and tried this swing today at the range - without the training aid. I have a horrible slice normally. I've only been golfing for about 6 weeks - still learning. Anyway, my timing is still developing, but copying Taly's swing I managed a 250 yard drive straight as an arrow, and quite a few well over 200 yards. Keep in mind I was trying this for the first time today, and I was only doing half swings in order to get the motion down. This is a very simple motion and is easy to learn.

  • Thanks for sharing @TheFossten.

  • you use your shoulders not your arms in golf

  • Thanks for posting @nickster2500.

  • btw-I have no financial interrested in this device.I am self taught. One of the first things I learned practicing the short game was that setting the wrists (flat left wrist bent right wrist, what THE Golfing Machine calls setting the flying wedges, and holding that set into the back swing made it so much esier to come into the back of the ball with hands ahead of the clubhead(THIS IS VITAL ESPECIALLY IN THE SHORT GAME).This results in a descending blow and a nice divot. This device helps u do that

  • EVERY golfer uses his ARMS!The arm and club make up the 2 lever swing, which is vital for generating power. What Taly is NOT using is his HANDS to generate power. There is NO CONSCIOUS EFFORT to release the club. It is all centrifugal force. The red ball gets you on plane and MOST importantly gets your hands ahead of the cubhead at impact (THAT'S VITAL).The Kinematic sequence is at play-power is generated from the feet UP to the hips, shoulders , arms ,clubhead. The HANDS simply HOLD on to the club

  • @TheNYgolfer

Easy to say. Hard to do.

  • Great post @TheNYgolfer.

  • im new to golf, and im pretty bad at it, but when i went on youtube the magic flowed through my arms to the driving range

  • looks like you swing your arms to me. lame solution to a problem which only represents 21 percent of a round of golf. 72 = 36 putts , 18 approaches (inc par 3's) 2 par 5 lay ups leaving just 16 times you use a driver (even then you might use an iron to position the ball).

  • Nice math @intoxicologist and thanks for reminding me.

The TALY MIND Set is also great for both chipping and putting.

Pros on the PGA Tour that are using it, love it for short game.

  • @intoxicologist Wouldn't it have been easier to just say there's usually two par 3's on a course, leaving you 16 times out of 72 to use your driver?

  • @HailCostanza on the course near me theres 5 par 3's so only 13 possable drives which minus another couple for the holes a driver would take you too far i may only use mine 10 times a round

  • @HailCostanza since when are there only 2 par 3's?

  • @thisishorseshit72 Since I realized I fucked up my comment, and hoped no one would call me out on it, and would just assume it was correct.

  • @intoxicologist 36 putts u must suck then. somewhere like 30 putts.

  • @IKiDPRoDiGYx

hhhm. Friday I had 8 1 putts in a row.

  • @intoxicologist And par 3s which should possibly be an iron or fairway wood into the green so mainly around 14 times..Good point btw :)

  • @intoxicologist Well, 4 par 5 second shots, so 14 shots w/ driver.

  • @intoxicologist right, but when your drive is 40 yds in some trees kind of hard to keep it to 18 approaches.......he doesnt swing his arms in the backswing at all...rotation and why would i use driver 16 times when every course i've played has 4 par 3's except for one

  • that means you are lost and desperate no more

  • More like 240 yds.My drive!!!Ha!!!

  • Thanks for posting @080197040.

  • That looks like a technique for the lost and desperate.

  • Thanks for finding us @altafari.

  • A very famous golfers won a lot majors swinging his arms. Others have succeeded with a body driven swing. Either one works if you understand and commit to it. The problem is that most simply cannot rotate their torsos fast enough to generate this kind of SS. So just don't expect 300 yard drives. This guy is not typical. BTW, he's swinging his arms, it's just less than with a arm driven swing.

  • Nice post @MrLuigiFercotti.

  • wtf lol, people are crazy about 300 yrds? It aint that much people

  • Thanks for posting @Monscent.

  • @Monscent 300 yards? not that much? Only 9% of pros are able to drive 300 yards+ so, yes it is "that much"

  • @kristopherbaird Actually I fu*ked up hard here haha, I was thinking in meters and did the conversion way wrong (didn't take time to think). You're right, its hella much!

  • nice swing

  • Thanks for posting @MrPomena.

  • Looks like you're swinging your arms there mate

  • Thanks for posting @elnocho3.

  • 300 yrds really isn't that hard if you actually hit the ball right.. There's no doubt a pretty young, built guy like yourself could hit it 300 yrds easy.. I've been hitting it over 300yrds since high school.. It's easy if you grow up playing baseball and develop a swing at an early age..

hitting it strait is another story though...

  • Thanks for posting @drfroglegs.

  • @:18 high comedy. Then Bozo the Clown got excited.

  • If i make good contact with no wind in my face i hit it 300 pretty regularly and i swing way harder than that lol...
