the tom yam that is generally available outside of thailand tastes different. I'm not quite sure why,the ingredients are mostly the same, the preperation is the same... it's just not the same result.

also in america you do stupid things like put pat see ew on rice or whatever, the american way of eating asian food is seldom accurate.
