deadmanprodinc, I have a 335 and tried Ibanez's. This guitar eats both of their lunches. Can't beat the quality and price ratio. Gibson for sure can't.
It sounds like your playing' Korean Jazz, is that where Jazz started? Korea invented the guitar didn't they? Try a Gibson es-175, es 300, es 335 or japanese Ibanez's. For christ sake what do the Koreans or Korean manufacturers know about guitars or western music!!!
It's interesting that you have the SP (spruce top) 780 model with the older style traditional f-holes. I know that these older 780's were all maple laminate including the top as well. Maybe they started to make the spruce top with this style f-holes and later moved to new (don't remember what they call it, sort of arrow-type) f-holes?
Anyways, these Crafters are hard to beat for the price they offer them. Hurry up while the prices are reasonable...

Yes, you can play anything on it, it's very diverse. I have a 700/N, and it's great for everything from jazz to copying foo fighter's tones.
