Now then: I am sat here watching this, Boxing day morning, eating 'Cadbury's Heroes' out of a round thin guage steel tin, (that's what I had for Christmas) just wondering what to do with the tin.................
But will 'she who must be obeyed' notice if a fork goes missing from he kitchen?
Ol man I thank you very much. I could not offord a new banjo, I came across your videos a while ago and learned how to make one for very little expense... Thank you so much mister!
@curryspcie Hard to tell.. I tend to just twist around on the pegs to come up with somethin' different and I've sold that particular can now so you might just have to search it out..
What was that tune? This oil can sounds better than the gas can did. How about a metal garbage can? Could that be a bass? Where are you? I see the old wood stove, and it looks like you are in an old farmhouse somewhere. In the Appalachians?
@astrolog7000 That's a tune I made up. Yea the oil can sounded pretty good. I find that every can has it's own sound. I sold that one to a guy here on youtube. I don't sell them very often, but I let that one go. I'll build more.. after a while.. I'm in Maine.
Wow..!!! Sweet Canjo that is a very nice take on it...Do You sell your Art..? I have a band mate who is teaching me Claw hammer , He would trip out to own one. Take Care Nice Playing by the way... eerily haunting..you can see the Smoky Mountains
Found some of my old music from back when I was in Raleigh and I'm trying to pick up Big Rock Candy Mountain again. Also took the bridge off the teakettle and the 5th string broke when I tried to tune it. Shouldn't have put that used string on it, I guess. Gotta get a new one today.
You trying to play clawhammer or Scruggs Style? I think about the easiest song to start with is Ol' Joe Clark. There's plenty of tableture online, and lots of ways to vary the song, so it stays interesting.. I've got a great old book at home that I really like, but I'm writing this from away. When I get home I'll try to remember to send you the name of it. If I forget, remind me..
