The only director that is a little above him in terms of overall contribution is Steven Speilgberg. But pound for pound he is the most talented director of all time.
Everyone knows that. Hes just a bit ruthless((well hes mellowed now-Thank god lol) with his creation process. I would get pisssed too if you get lazy actors who dont work as hard as everyone else on a movies dealing with so much energy and pressure. Its no wonder he has so much film awards. Explains why only he could beat Titanic:)

I think it`s very good but not the best film ever, it has no real complex or plot, there are many unpleasant moments, the them us somewhat basic, the morals basic aswell, the acting is good but flawed, the developmemt rushed, the drama and love story and effects and music and good ascting and screenplsy and setting make it work.
