With the first floor/lobby thing - I think the uhhm.. layer.. I guess w/e of a multi-layered building should be called first floor, or at least have the lobby synonymous with 1st floor because I think of it like.. there are 1 story buildings or 2 story houses where I don't think you call the 1st layer a 'lobby' and I believe it makes more sense to have that train of thought continue for even 14 story building. Though I guess I can see it as if you're counting the floors you go 0, 1, 2, 3 etc...
