I remembered on top of Lantau Island, there are some cement houses and a swimming pool. When I was a small boy I had seem some Kwailos being carried to the top of Lantau Island with chair. (1 person carried a chair on each ends)
@huwingcheng . I do not recall that chair services on the island were available in the early fifties. At any rate we would not have used them (I never did) as we loved to walk instead, although to Po Lin Shi monastry it was quite a climb arriving in moonlight!
I guess the music is called " The Lotus " I don't remember, but my mom loves this kind of music so much. Ah, you make me think of my mom, I want to visit her in October, she is 80 years old now. Thanks for the upload.
