How are those pickups made of Ceramic magnets sound compared to lets say Seymour Duncan JB and 59 set, wich are made of Alnico 5 magnet that would determines wich guitar I will buy this summer, The prophecy Gx plays great, nice slim neck also satin finish, VS lets say, LTD EC 1000 with Seymour Duncun in it

@FreeByrd007 this wiil be alot heaveyer, ive played the ec-1000, and i have a gibson lp studio, the ec-1000 is verry nic and comfortable and has good sound (get the amber with duncans) but us dosnt sound like a lp because of its thinner body, contours, and lighter weight but it sounds good in its own right.

mm, prophecy ex or gx is better? The EX has an EMG pickup whereas the GX has dirtyfingers pickup. So which is better?

Ditto. They give you a larger range of tones, and the cleans are VERY good. EMG cleans are just kinda flat and feel like the really have no depth or feeling.

@xiscream0x I depend on your taste, and what you want to play with, EMG are really good for Metal, but less for rock and hard rock sound, where the Dirty fingers plays better in my opinion.

Prophecy Gx has a very custom tone in my opinion the gx has a more clean and thicker sound it has the original gibsons Dirty Finger pickups i own one of these and its amazing i can tell ya

Well the first tipoff is that the GX is $800 and the Standard is like $400. GX > standard, but custom vs. gx is a matter of opinion I think.

I don't know really as I have never had any experience with shipping guitars in. I bought this guitar yesterday and am SO pleased with it.

If you can look in all local guitar shops and ask if they have any in. If they don't see if they can get them shipped in. I think it's more likely to get to you if it's shipped in by a company rather than an individual.
