It really frustrates me that Clara never included in studio portraits of the Ward/Clara Ward Singers some of her greatest song leaders such as Thelma Bumpess,Clara Thomas,Ethel Gilbert and yet others.To this day i don't know what Thelma looks like,Wish i knew.

@MrkitchenTalk, my Aunt Thelma was the greatest they never talk about, but she could bring the house down to a whisper or a shout. Her sisters and brothers could also saaaang. Did you hear the horn in the background? This song had me clapping and crying with joy. I am loving it! gonna share with my facebook family. Oh, by the way she trained Shirley Ceasar, cant' you hear the resemblance.
