actually it is low wistle which is specific variation of a tin whistle. You can tell that by it's lower pitch and larger size comparing to traditional tin whistle. I have never seen Andrea playing low whistle except in this one song.

As much as I like Andrea Corr, she's not playing the tin whistle here. You can see at 0:36, she takes a breath, and the tin whistle magically continues playing when there should've been a very brief pause in the sound.

I'm fully aware of her musical abilities and I know she can play the tin whistle perfectly... but in this performance, she wasn't playing. You only need to look at 0:35 when she takes a breath, the sound of the tin whistle is still being played. If she's inhaling, she's hardly blowing through the tin whistle so it can't magically continue to play unless it was a pre-recording. I still like her though.. :)

@Dev1ner Oh trust me, I don't doubt that you like her. That moment at 0:35 that you're referring to is actually her playing. If you watch the entire video very, very closely, you can see that the video is just slightly out of sync with the audio. That's why it looks like that.

@diegohotful She's a very famous Irish musician from the band 'The Corrs' which have some very good songs! She is the lead singer for The Corrs, and occasionally plays the tin whistle. She plays the tin whistle perfectly normally, so I dont know why it was pre-recorded here... and yea she's gorgeous and a great ambassador for Ireland!

No, i don't speak about the whistle, but the player, she move in front of the micro, but the sound don't move, and the micro should be just in front of the opening for the air in the whistle. The whistle has been recorded before in studio

Sotry. I have played a Generation Bb into Shure SM-58 in front of large audiences (just like she is doing), and she is doing just what she should be doing in that situation -- letting the mic pick up the sound holes and not the fipple blade. It keeps the dynamic range small for the engineer, and avoids breath sounds on top of Ms. Dion.

She ha performed for years, and what she is playing is extremely simple (except for the finesse), so I see no need to dub it in.
