But how did new civilisations rise up again after the attack? Remember, they do it every 50,000 years. I know the whole thing with the background being all silent is due to the fact that the game is still in-dev and they evidently haven't gotten around to inserting sound effects or music just yet, but I kinda find that it makes the cutscenes just a little more... brooding.
