  • I liked how high his leg went!

  • Excellent, totally respectful display, on movies they usually act like idiots with monkey style

  • Great Master, thank you for posting

  • This isnt the Lost Monkey form. Its a mix of Lost, Tall, and Drunken Monkey. Very few know those forms so its hard to identify unless you know.

Thanks for this awesome post of my great grandmaster!

  • @9thDrunkenImmortal He originally told me this was the horse / lost monkey, so this his information. No drunken in this at all, the drunken is easy to identify. Tall monkey crosses with lost monkey so some techniques are similar.

  • @Bedstysifu

My sifu who has learned those 3 monkeys has identified them already first hand.

No drunken? Watch again at 00:42 to 00:44, that is a section from the Drunken Monkey form where he stumbles backward to the turn around. Yes I agree, the drunken is easy to identify.

Tall Monkey is distinct from Lost Monkey, with less than 10% cross over moves in those 2 forms.

  • this guy is really good!!

  • This is the original post. Only KungFuTSPK's Channel was given permission to use it. Others using it at least give credit to Sifu Carl -Bedstysifu

  • I so agree with you bigkittysmile, this is the real deal, Tai Shing Pek Kwar at its best. That 'other' guy is a fake and a plagiarist.

  • amazing! this is the real thing. not like

the american "masters" post. chan sau

chung is the best mokey stylist i've

    ever seen.

  • this dude is fucking NICE!!! and im not talking about the dramatics of the form. im talking about his energy and how he uses his soft and speedy principle. then when i saw him apply it i was like whoa.

  • Monkey style is fun to watch! Though I haven't seen alot of schools that teach it.

  • Amazing kung fu! well we can see master Chan's reputation is well deserved!

  • very cool footage

  • Outstanding!!

  • Where did you get this!! must have more!!!

  • Master Chan foot strength and foot works are great that no followers can match. True monkey form that no one can do and repeat even today.

  • Wow. So awesome...

  • holy shit. tooo coooool

  • Wow. That was the best I've ever seen of that. The music was a perfect choice too!

  • fantastic footage

  • respect.and good music.i did that style with started at 4y got beaten like shit didnt know what they do with me.but thats how u train killers dont...well iam 28 now and i told police everything.yea they did that in bosnia damn SS but theyll get caught by secret service.peace to everybody.dont beat kids

  • This is what its all about, genuine Tai Shing Pek Kwar. GM Chan Sau Chung is the best; however he has been retired from some time ago, this clip was when he was in his 'prime'. Many thanks Bedstysifu for posting this very rare footage.

  • could be better if the stage was not that slippery

  • Thanks for posting such a rare clip!

  • Your library never ceases to amaze me!!!!

  • Seems a monkey got into the mix, the horse monkey was in place instead of the lost monkey. Now you see the lost monkey not the horse monkey. The horse monkey is playful and crafty. According to Chan Sau Chung in the 70's.

  • brilliant bruva

  • Theres a bit of "kei hau" (tall monkey) in that performance too, spicy!

Oh, in the description I dont think "horse" is one of the 5 monkeys. Should be:

    1. Mai Hau - Lost Monkey

    2. Kei Hau - Tall Monkey

    3. Sek Hau - Stone Monkey

    4. Muk Hau - Wooden Monkey

    5. Jui Hau - Drunken Monkey

  • Kei Hau means standing monkey

  • Yeah, as in standing tall.

  • amazing

  • The music is from "Hero" with Jet Li.

  • Sifu, what is the music you are using for this?

  • holy shit... thank you for posting your clips. much respect and love to you for your kindness; thank you.

  • Awesome post, thanks for this!
