Lydon credit's Sid's poor bass technique as to why he couldn't play 'heartfelt' PIL songs like 'Religion', when by every account Lydon had this song ready to go with the Pistols, but McClaren screwed it all up so Johnny had to record it with PIL. Make no mistake, I am a PIL fan (esp. early PIL when Wobble Levine and Crow were at their peak) but it is completely disingenuous for Lydon to assert that Sid prevented him from going all the way. If so, credit Jah Wobble, who actually did the job.
I still love PIL. I had that film can album and I remember seeing them on "American Bandstand". John wouldn't sing into the mic and Keith played a Veleno.
It's so great to see someone who puts emotion into his performance unlike the bland musicians of today

I've seen a intervieuw with him and i really want to see this again.
He was wearing glasses and talked about his personal life and how he and his wife wanted children.
Can anyone tell me if i can see intervieuw on the internet??

Johnny Rotton (Lydon), Oh yeah. He is amazing. He is so spot on with who he is and what he is about.

If it`s not immediately obvious that the record was on at the wrong speed I have great difficulty accepting the interviewers credentials.
