Alan Rickman - Signing Autographs at Milk Premiere

I once read a fan's "experience" of meeting him after Private Lives and I remember she mentioned that he was kinda mad at some guy shoving his picture (I think it was an HP one) for an autograph and he said something about it being on Ebay for sell. So I guess that's the reason. Good for him for not signing, although I guess some people really do want a Snape pic for themsevles........

Because I've seen so many interviews of him I think its safe to assume that he doesnt want to sign HP photos because that is the role he is always being recognized for and even though he did the role, he'd much rather be recognized for one of his low budget plays because THEN he would feel some sense of accomplishment.

i think he is disappointed with the latest Harry Potter films. The director has not used his character professor Snape the correct way. I think that the Half Blood Prince did not live up to the book at all.

I don't believe he's all that disappointed, although they tend to cut most of his scenes and indeed the last director doesn't seem to use Snape's image accurately.

Maybe he refuses to sign to people that just downloaded a HP picture and try to get an autograph just to sell it to e-bay the next moment.

@jokester33 I totally agree with you... they always cut important scenes from the book, especially those of snape's and voldy's childhood.I wonder what they will do to the hp7 movie...

why he didn't want to sign that harry potter photo?! I just didn't ear what he said...:(

I don't know. He refuses to sign Harry Potter pictures all the time though. I've seen other videos on youtube where we won't sign them.
