Outstanding drills. This will be my first season with coaching tackle O-line. Since we don't have sleds, this is the best alternative. I'll take hustle over muscle any day.

This is an excellent idea. Great technique. Carpet would be so much easier to deal with. Especially when you have to bring all the practice gear yourself!

Hey great drill coach! I really like the quickness in which you get throught the drill, not much time for the kids to stand around doing nothing more than getting anxious. It would be easy to add a few more carpet strips and let some of the kids hold the blocking pads and get the whole line going at the same time to teach them to fire in unison. Also, I bet most coaches could get some free carpet scraps or remnants for free from a local carpet store just tell them it is for kids.
