I visited Olney last week and managed to find one white squirrel amidst a park full of regular ones. It was worth it, though -- the little bugger looked like a ghost and enjoyed posing for pictures. My advice is: be patient and a representative of this strange breed will appear...
olney is also home of mr. brian james o'neill...you should search youtube for that name and watch the first video that comes up...he's almost always easier to find in olney than a white squirrel
Dude...you were in the wrong section of the park or something...the squirrels hang out in the UPPER section where the playground is...I damn near couldn't recognize where the hell you were at, and I've lived here 50 years!!!! lol
No white squirrel, no cell service, WTH. LOL ! Hey thanks for the sub, I apriciate it, and it look s like you have a pretty cool bike, only I can't see what kind it is. Do have a close up vid of your bike. Take care ,
How weird, I grew up in Olney. Going to the park as a kid they were everywhere, so tame they would come on the picnic tables and eat french fries out of you hand or even get inside you car to get one.
i live in olney lol, i see more whites than grays. i got one in my backyard i feed bread to everday named snowball. and if u go to micky d's and get french fries and go to the park they'll eat out of your hand. just dont get caught lol
for sure, and you can see more if u go by like where the playground area or w/e is in the park because there's more trees around there for them to mess in.
I am glad she is riding well on her maiden voyage across the US! Man, that is some grade A packing haha. I bet the sleeping bag is helpful as a back rest.
Chuck, when I first got to Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia (I'm leaving tomorrow after being here the entire summer), everyone was telling me how I'd see moose everywhere. It took me weeks before one of the locals took me into the mountains just to be sure I'd get a glimpse of one before I left.
So your white squirrel is basically my Canadian moose. ;o)
AT&T More bars, more places. My BUTT! I have the same problem sometimes. It's about time you got a haircut you long haired hippie! LOL Remember those days.
Good luck with that... From looking at it... well it looks pretty solid but then thats to be expected as you know your bike well and look after it seemingly and dont take offense... like its your baby :p *some people get really tetchy when I say stuff like that*
All the best with the build quality... Hopefully it runs as nice as it looks :D
I forgot to tell you that where I live we have gray, red and black squirrels. The red ones are really agressive! THey come around in the spring but sort of fade away during summer. I'll try to get a pix.
How the Hell I get here???! Subwoofers to this?

@MrMickeybitzko True, I asked a lot of people and they said there were white squirrels around. Wish I had an extra day in Olney to look around more.
suburbanryder 6 months ago
Really, the AT&T cell signal's bad? That's too bad.
mydreamquest 9 months ago
@mydreamquest I have Verizon now so it will be much better in Olney and elsewhere.
AT&T is great around the Chicago area but traveling not so much.
suburbanryder 9 months ago
if you have french fries near the playground area squirrels will flock by the 100s!

IndyRider15 2 years ago
Plenty of black squirrels in the CB/Omaha metro. I swear they live to tease my dog every morning.

You said theres been no problems yet... are you expecting troubles with the bike at all or?
Looking forward to the next update.
Enjoy the ride and be well

Well I have no experience with this bike long distance.
My Harley for 25 years just ran and never let me down on a trip. I hope this bike can live up to the tradition.

LoneWolfRsiX08 2 years ago
I could not ask for better weather so far. I hope it's great at Deals Gap.
suburbanryder 2 years ago
Looks like a nice little park.
It's always nice to travel on a week day in the summer. Not as much commuter traffic and parks are not crowded.
I hope you enjoyed what looked like a nice summer day.

When I jumped off the little bit of four lane the roads were almost deserted. Made for great relaxing riding in the midwest.
