Ive been an off roader for 25 yrs or more and it seems as tho you have the basics WELL under contro!. Amazing Jeep, looks like an quite an excersise in engineering! Keep up the great work.
look like it behaved well on road, very little bodyroll. truck sounds amazing, stance is nice. would love to get a close up on the rear steer on independent suspension.
so many haters our there. Cracks me up. I think this Jeep is badass no matter if it ever hits the dirt or not. If it never hits the dirt it shows he respects the money he spent to make it look that way. A guy with this kind of money probably has 3 other jeeps he beats the shit out of on a regular basis so he doesn't have to tear this beauty up. Just like the guy that owns a vette but drag races his 73 camaro on the weekend. I am sure this jeep does everything the owner wants it to do.
@redduramax06 hahaha thats so funny last time i heard it i fell off my dinosaur! U can go fuck ur self. Why the hell do u watch jeep vids? U should be lookin up some new jokes ya spirm burping gutter bitch!
For people criticizing the IFS and IRS; many a rock crawler and buggy employ such suspensions. It all depends on the symmetry and application - shit works well. The solid axle Jeeps, like my '09 JK has its benefits as well - durability, cost, etc. My only knock is the height and resulting center of gravity. IMO, the best balance is a 3" lift and 35s.
@uncleflaco Sounds like you have been wheeling for a while and yes....C of G is always a factor. This is how our adjustable suspension can adapt to any off camber situation and lean the C of G into the hill side.
@gocms I must agree with uncleflaco, the cg on this is way too high to go off road regardless how it can be adjusted for off camber, although the engine sounds great! this would have to be dropped about a foot to be off road worthy, i have done a lot of wheeling, aside from the high cg how do you like the independent susp? What do you thing the RTI would be? I get the impression that you made it? Aside from the ride height it looks like you did a great job.
@gocms I can reply too Thermalzz's post, Idk why, But Just in case he views again
54in boggers 56in Baha claws and 52' michelin are "I think" the biggest street legal tires in production, Then again tire size isnt the kicker, Most states pay more attention too Headlight height and Bumper height,
@08whitesierra4x4 Thanks for the compliment our build team appreciates it when people like you know quality. Rockwells are a good solid axle, we do not have any problems when them but for our style of off roading and the purpose of our trucks they would be way to heavy and would not be suitable for what we do. Every design and in this case axle has its strong points and weaknesses. Our IFS system suits our terrain and high floatation needs the best.
compensation much?? still pretty cool I guess. I bet that thing is extra tippy though... I mean jeeps are kinda notorious for that. oh well if you tip, at least you'll look badass the entire time right?
@MichaelaLeach ... We get both comments all the time, the street ride height for the truck is actually quite low as we need to be DOT compliant for bumper and headlight heights. The trucks are very stable and honestly they corner better than my family wagon which is a 2005 Cherokee. Once the air cylinders are pressurized both the tops and bottoms they act as a built in sway bar.
We need the floatation of the tires and diff clearance for the snow/rocks and mud.
@jeepboyz05 Well it all comes done to the components and design of the IFS system and the Dana 60 you are comparing too. All of our Drive axle components are Dana 60 or Military 1 1/4 ton. We have a preference for the Dana 60 parts due to availability.
I wonder if anything was done to the t case since the gocms has the flanges in the middle? Id like to see videos of that beast doing Moab or Johnson valley or KOH
@djblade311 Nothing special was done to the T-Case. It is a standard Altas 2 speed. We just had to be really careful of the front drive shaft angles, as they are compounded drive angles.
Of course you can lock an "independent front suspension"... Why would you be able to like IRS, and not IFS? lol Really- it's a differential. It can be locked just the same as any other differential.
@subwofa We always get a DOT inspection once a build is complete and we also have a great repore with our local police. If you’re able to see the quality of work our guys do in the shop you’d be impressed. ( Usually we do not drive in the full up position but what we call street mode. Trying not to be too much of a Heat score.)
Hey let's try this. For all you fucking haters, make it your New Years Resolution not to be a douche bag! This Jeep kicks ass and the guy obviously knows what he's doing, great job man. It's nice to see someone do something right !
to everyone hating on the ifs do you realize it came out of a 1 ton military rig? it is FAR stronger then a dana 60! only solid axle close to that is a rockwell 2.5 ton. you will 2-3x's more articulation out of this setup then a 4 or 3 link coil over setup. the ifs also is alot more stable then solid axle rig. the other major advantage is the diff height, the diff is the lowest part of you rig, if you can't clear your diff your not going any where.
No, But that suspension is independent on all 4 corners just like a Civic. You should of just put 2 Chevy Dana 60s in her though (same width only: more flex, way stronger, way simpler, and way cooler). But that Rear Steer is cool! nice street shiney show jeep thing a ma jigger.
Not at all, your application is good for a hunter or someone looking for a show rig, that's all. I'll revoke my POV once I see it perform under any rock crawling/real trail conditions, until then I'm a firm believer that a solid axle will get you much further. You basically turned the JK into a Hummer, and hey to each their own, it will be great for cramming through mud/snow, but there's a reason Jeeps have solid axles and not IFS/IRS. That thing would be broken in 5 minutes.
haha Just Kidding it's not a jeep. Coincidence chrsyler uses the same v-6 thats in the JK in there minivans, i think not. TJ and back is the way to go. Just another person in a JK to prove that you're dumbasses, or a rich pansy who can't drive a manual jeep. faggot
Hey gocms, just saw the two JK's headn up Ch... Lake road and almost ran my rhino into the ditch. They have got to be the coolest JK's roaming Earth. For anyone that has not seen these completed you wouldn't understand.
does that thing have a hemi? or just some other v8? looks like youve got some money put into that thing and it reminds me of gravedigger just blackend out lights would make it more sinister
That's SO sick. Monster truck indeed. Sounds like one too with the Hemi. Imagine parking that in a parking lot.. or even sitting at a light.. people would give you hella insane looks. And no fender flairs - AWESOME. Makes my 06 TJ looks like a low rider :/ lol

Evolution can be a hard thing on some people. With I.S. you get the diff off the ground, giving you a true lift. We are not trying to ruin a jeep just get farther down the trail.

1.5" crazy tough, you should see my drive shaft .75" - 800hp, 600# torque. Ahh the marvel of space age materials. This Jeep has a wack of power also and same drive shaft.
The 502 should bolt right in with no modifications and will pass smog inspection in California! I see it costing you less than $800 and 6 hours to complete the swap
