Somebody needs to go back to history class... Desperately. The Greeks did not consider this "against the fabric of their religion". They married and had families, but routinely had lovers fight beside them. It was good for morale. If you think they had some puritan sex ideals, you're crazy.
I'd like to second 'IvoryGull' - this is the most wonderful Alexander/Hephaistion vid I've ever seen! The choice of music is wonderful and the scenes and quotes you added and how you made them blend in is perfect! And aawww, finally - the kiss! xd We were all so waiting for that all through the film and were utterly disappointed. Thank you so much for correcting that crime. :-) Those two are just perfect together. Cutest couple ever - A/H as well as Jared/Colin. Made me a devoted slash lover. xD
Alexander the Great was never gay.. for it went against the very fabric of the Greek religion to be homosexual.. and there were no such things in Ancient Greece, where one could be executed if one offended the Gods or acted against the state, which was the same.. like always, homosexuality must have been practiced, like anywhere in the world, then and now.. but the view that Ancient Greece was so hosexual is incorrect, because it goes against the logic of their Religion itself....
