Rihanna got famous off of a stolen beat from Garage band. This instrumental sucks. If you know the sample from garage band then you would know that the entire drums and hi hats are taken, unchanged. That takes no effort. My brother made a beat with it and actually changed the drums. Then the strings/other sounds on the song are pretty crappy too. They aren't hard to do at all, it's duuuuuu, daaaaaaa, it took little to no effort to make this record. All it was was catchy with the words.

If the song was meant to sound 100% complete as an instrumental then it would have been released as such. At the end of the day the final product sold millions and got world wide recognition. I like the hi-hat too, I just kinda could've done without the high pitched synththeziser part that comes on at 0:12, That part ends at 0:34 and it starts back without the high pitched part thats where I would like the whole instrumental just continue with just that.
