  • NEVERBEFORESEEN... BEFORE

  • I thought it was a really kool video thanks for sharing

  • cheater you sealded the computer stupid!!!!!!!!

  • @coolguy56781 Yes, with a ziplock bag. Still waiting for my check from them.. Remember, ziplock bags - the only bags tough enough to protect your laptop when swimming....

  • Good way to get killed, lcd's use high voltage back lights and the inverters are pretty dangerous too. I'm sure the risk is minimal though, still I wouldn't trust it. : 3

  • how we will be sure its a laptop and not a waterproof camera or something ;P

  • @pinkyproduction1 You are just going to have to trust me :)

  • I'd only do this with 5 bags sealing mine.

  • @Dan4328 No generic bags here, ziplock only!

  • wait what about the battery how does it not get messed up

  • @sportsforlife101 It was inside a sealed bag. The laptop never got one drop of water on it. Way to go Ziplock bags!

  • but im not wearing a hat

  • @AYYitzAUSTIN Ok, if you insist...

  • but im not wearing a hat!!!!!!!!

  • FAKE FAKE FAKE U PUT A WATER COVeRING THING OVEr!

  • @llasse22kd Er, by water covering thing, you mean a ziplock bag? Well yes, guilty as charged. But then again I did show myself doing it in the video XD

  • FAKE FAKE FAKE U PUT A WATER COVERING THING OVER!

  • FAKE FAKE FAKE U PUT A WATER COVERING THING OVER

  • FAKE FAKE FAKE U PUT A WATER COVERING

     THING OVER

  • Can i have the peace of crap?

  • Compaq, the worst computer company... It sucks...

  • @darknessb930 Dunno - tie with gateway, lol...

  • ARE YOU THE TOURETTES GUY? :D

  • watch the bag fave afukn hole! lmao

  • acer aspire one is better than eepc :l

  • I have both. I like the Aspire One, but the SSHD on the eepc is sure more robust and shock resistant. The Aspire One wasnet created yet when I bought my eepc. I use my aspire one for everyday use and my eepc for travel.

  • @vacuumlover1 nope, m friend droped his from his bed and half the screen is white, its not as durable as the EEPC

  • @vacuumlover1

Acer make great computers but in the mini laptop game the eee pc is top of the hill. by far the best mini laptop available. dont let the fact that you have an acer and your jealous get in the way of common sense. hell the keyboard on the acer is enough to drive a person crazy in about 5 seconds..

  • hi i love my acer aspire 5720 limited edition pc....but the batt used to last around 5 hours now after a year 1 hour??why

  • OEM or aftermarket battery?

  • battery cells dead or on there way out the battery cant hold a full charge its the same with all rechargeable batterys after time they diminish into less charge

  • Agreed, but to putz out after a year? Cheap / inferior cells. Whoo Hoo China!

  • lmao woo hoo china says it all

  • fuck a fuck

  • Ive got an X60, is the eepc smaller?

  • I think it is by a wide margin...

  • oh lol

  • oh ok..lol thats what iv got..acer aspire 5720 limited edition

  • THATS NOT A GIANT PEACE OF CRAP!

  • No, its great.. Really... Until you have to tote that bastard a mile or two!

  • Taking it under water without the bag,now that's cool, I CHALLENGE YOU!

  • Thanks but no thanks, we both know how that would end. But if I could find enough mineral oil......

  • You'll be surprised. I've worked as a system administrator for 21 years and we had an issue in our factory where the roof was leaking and completely soaked a large printer we had. We took it apart, we dried it was working fine and trust me, that thing was filled with electronics. I know people who left their mp3 player in their pants or shorts and even after 60 minutes in the washing machine, they still managed to get it to work after blow drying it (not too hot).

  • I spilled a cup of coffee (black) into the keyboard of a running laptop once. Disassembe, rinse with distilled water and bake in the oven @165 for 8 hours. Worked fine but warped the plastic case. After ebay for a used plastic bezel I was back in bidness! Water dosent ruin electronics, Coca Cola ruins electronics, haha. Your absoloutly 100% right! I am trained as an EE...

  • It's all about getting the water out as soon as possible. Anyway, it was fun watching your video and youre right, those old laptops really start to look humongous when you compare them with a netbook. A netbook is a better option for travelers if you ask me, I even consider a 15 laptop way too big.

  • I used to think the evo N610 was a good laptop for traveling, but when you can get one of these Eee Pc's and it's as big as a portable DVD player, there is no contest! After running a mile down the concorse at Hong Knog Intn'l the Evo N610 weighs a TON compared to the new subnotebooks. I say to all the suckers, keep buying those widescreen laptops!!

  • ya lol

  • This was crazy :)

Video was so cool that I put it on the local Serbian Eee PC portal as "Waterproof Eee PC" :)

You didn't plan to test video conferention under water? :)

  • Naaa, the wifi will not work beacuse the water is too dense.

They keyboard, camera and mic work fine.

Can't use the touchpad, it will not work through a ziplock bag!

    Thanks for watching!

  • I had to rate it 5 for your courage. I would never do it on my beloved eee.

    Btw, you're pretty hot!

  • Thanks..

I knew it would work and that my Eee would survive :)

  • brilliant idea! ^^ EEE Waterbook

  • nice

  • Actually, a waterproof small digital camera would have provided better resolution to your underwater adventure. Dunking a whole laptop into a hotel pool seems kind of silly in front of other hotel personnel and guests...

  • On point #1 (video quality), agreed. But for the rest, wasn't that the whole point??? Besides, the laws of physics were on my side.
