Netherlands gas is us$ 8.60 a Gallon now.

There is a lot of tax and accijns on Gas and Diesel. Accijns is a sort of tax on Fuel but also Alcohol and sigarettes.

But our gasprice was allready higher than the USA. Here they believed that people would drive less

if the price of Gas went up. Well now that it is THIS HIGH that is true. But you see more little cars which make more miles to a gallon. So people find a way to keep driving anyway.

This could cause a $5 a gallon increase, because we would grow dependent upon foreign nations we are not allies with in order to provide our oil. Cap and Trade (American Power Act) would increase gas prices increase by $2.58 a gallon according to George C. Marshall Institute& taxes on the average household up to $3200 according to the RNC
