Man the price is the quality of build .how many people have to send for replacements from traktor as I know a few . How often does ne thing from pioneer fuck up ? Very rarely if at all in a lifetime !
@missionous Do take in account that the experience with MIDI controllers is far greater at Native Instruments. Next to that, NI has great customer support and will easily deliver a new product for you. The soundcard in that DDJ-T1 isn't all that "wow" either. If you're looking for a good, reliable MIDI controller, you should pick the S4. If you're looking for professional exterior hardware CDJ / mixpanels, you go Pioneer.

I was convinced that the DDJ-T1 was better just because it was pioneer but it seems only the scratch and jog wheel is better. Plus I only have traktor LE right now, so the traktor S4 is a much cheaper options for me, with regards to software. Thanks a lot!! perfect review. I will be heading down to aage jensen this week to pick up an S4. Traktor 1 - 0 Pioneer !
Needle search på DDJ-T1 er smart. Men S4 knepper den alligevel via deres loop spole funktion. Dvs du kan med et drej springe 1,2,4,8,16 eller 32 takter frem i musikken uden at du kan høre du spoler. KÆFT det er smart hvis nu man skulle komme til at smide en herre lang kedelig intro på mm!!
Jeg er godt nok spændt på software updaten d1/4 til begge maskiner.
Men knapper til funktioner vil DDJ-T1 nu alligevel altid mangle samtidig med den er 2000kr dyre:(
Det med at man ikke kan søge i sine filer uden et tastatur er ikke helt sandt, der er en knap der hedder 'tree' og 'favorits' hold en af dem inde og drej på søgeknappen så kan i komme rundt i jeres mapper :) Men ellers en fin anmeldelse på dansk :)

Du skal prøve dem begge, og se hvad du synes. Jeg er rigtig glad og tilfreds med pioneer's t1. Man føler sig hjemme med den hvis man har spillet på deres cdj før. Snap' og quantize.. du kan også flytte dit autoloop på pioneer, men der er ingen looprecorder som s4. Men ingen knapper for sampler. Men jeg kan ikke sige dig hvad du skal vælge, jeg valgte t1 pga. den er mere overskuelig og den føles mere som en cdj, end bare en controller. Held og lykke med dit valg :)

Men så er det bare pisse ærgeligt at hele opbygningen af jeres video hænger sammen som løs sne og at kameraføring giver en lyst til at kaste op. Prøv at lave et manuskript for hvad i vil igennem næste gang, og tag lidt flere shots indtil i har noget video med knapt så meget "øøhhhm" og hvor pointerne kommer lidt klarere igennem, og så overvej at få kameraet på et stativ :)

I have now played 8 club job with S4 and must say that with all its effects is a clear winner here. The size of the Pioneer is nice but at many clubs, there is no room for pioneer who is runing 3 year old software. April 1 the Tractor pro 2 software will be free to download for both controllers. I fear however that DDJ-T1 again have a very stripped down version of Pro 2
@YoshiExcel Ye man same here, been lookin all over havent yet made a decision. S4 or DDJ-T1.. Leaning towards S4 simply because i like the sampling feature.. adds so much more creativity almost endless possibilities.. with fx omag i can make miracles happen haha
@MrNakedEye agreed, the S4 kinda looks like a more complete package. Definitely it seems you can do more with the music, easier to make remixes on the fly. Overall the controller looks nicer. About the only thing i see so far that i like better with the Pioneer is that its Pioneer =) , i like that you can slide the laptop under the controller, and its huge! =D Other than that, S4 looks like a winner.
@YoshiExcel PART 1 ---- Yes i've been looking at alot of videos past 2 days, i pretty much set on buying S4, simply because remixing (sampling) feature really attracts me. Laptop sliding business is iffy, simply because @ certain angle you wont be able to see bottom part of your laptop.. so i dont rly care about that feature. Pioneer is only good in size i like how its spaced out, minus is that Pitch slider is right next to volume control, which you can bump accidentally.
Respond to this video... PART 2 --- Other huge minus is the Line In's ... With S4 you can connect 2 cdj's or turntables to take over your other 2 decks. DDJ-T1 only 1 Line In = sad.. what use is that if say your laptop crashes... Plus for DDJ-T1 is big platters (not the biggest NS7 = 7") if you into scratching, dunno how responsive they are, yet again if you rly wanna scratch buy 1 turntable connect to S4 and ur good to go, plus u can sample cool shit from old vinyls with S4 which

Build quality of the S4 is much better than cheap plastic Pioneer. look and feel the difference. S4 is dedicated that's a + too.
