The subtle genius here is just amazing. Dude's high-tailing it out of there to save his life and scampers away with all of their beer. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the depth of this comedic value.
Now she's bleedin on the both of you guys. So you two can fuckin rot. But not me! No fuckin way, not me! Hahahaha I swear he was hella funny and got the hell outa dodge with all that beer lol
LOL when my dad watched this scene, and jeff says "effing effers" he couldn't stop laughing. We sat there and made up different ones like bitching bitches and shitting shitters XD LMAO I mean just because who really does the same cuss word twice in a row?? stupid.. xD
Jeff is an ass!!!!! He freaking doesn't even try to tell the authorities about his friends and he takes ALL the beer, their only drinking source that isn't contaminated! They ALL freaked out way too much because you find out in th next movie that the disease isn't a virus but Necrotizing Fasciitis and though is incurable it can still be treated and STOPPED! In real life, smart people would all just drive to the hospital then be treated (though may have to be amputated).
he has a point it's been a fewdays and she's getting worse and worse yet they still try to cure her Jeff was smart I would have done the same thing when shit hits the fan it's survival of the fittest
@Darkmaster300000 agreed. Jeff was the only smart one. HE didnt take any chances and wound up never getting sick. The only retarded thing he did was scream "I MADE IT" at the end and drew attention to himself
The more B-grade horror films I watch from the 70s and 80s, the more I realize just how genius this film was. Roth really knew what he was doing here, and it's a shame so many people just don't really...get it.
Agreed, it seems that for some people it clicks and they realize it. I must say, had I had not seen this wit my ex-girlfriend all the way back the year it came out, who was a proponent of it, I would have thought it was just some shitty movie.
Everyone who had seen it besides her thought she was crazy. I watched it and it was exactly as awesome as she said it was. Good stuff. I really wish more people saw the genius in it.
and no, it has nothing to do with the "pancakes" scene.
@LanIost I thought this movie was disgusting, and generally I think horror films are bad. However this was a good horror film, it's more than just people dyeing for 90 minutes. Here we're given something that scares everybody, disease, and the deterioration of the friendship between these 4 kids is a nice thing we often don;t see in horror films.
@SanityLapse Yes, yes, yes! This movie is awesome, and Eli Roth is awesome. One of my favorite movies of all time- totally hilarious and tons of gore! Love it way more than Hostel, though I do have a lot of love for Hostel 2, but Hostel 2 still can't compare to Cabin Fever!
Anyone else always think that Jeff looks exactly like Trey Parker?

I love how he's running off for his life...with a pack of beer. It's good to have priorities.

I still think the scene where Jeff dies is the most epic scene in this movie.
