  • Exceptional, Alex. You've obviously been mastering the technique for some time.

    Rick. :-)

  • @rickileeway Since the time I got diagnosed with MS in 1992, which was 10 years after the first 7 attacks of MS, since 1982.

  • Great answer.

  • Serious question, how long can you keep it up? How long can you play for?

  • @h0mer37 Personal answer! As long as it takes, in many bursts of say 2 minutes, but when the dream-time kicks in, it's out of time and space.

  • Another nice share. Keep them coming, my friend.

And stop by anytime:) I hope you enjoy the music I make.

    Regards

  • @yetanothersongwriter Plenty of back-pressure with this didge

  • Haha - ah you picked up heaps of tricks whilst in the Great Southern Land. Funny I was just trying to do this the other day... not play a didge but circular breathe. A friend tried to teach me to play once, not sure I was that good. Beauty mate. Kerri

  • @kezzcass It taught this one 'ere to speak again 7 times.

  • Brilliant - cheers mate! I want one now...

Something you do makes it sounds like it has a wah-wah pedal :-)

  • @lovingfatalist Heresy mate, Heresy. A choice etymologically. To wah-wah or not to wah-wah.

  • Dude, you have no idea what I feel when you play that didge. (It is like my spirit's senses are awoken) I feel like I am going to ascend to the heavens!

    I fancy that instrument now.

    Keep em comin'

    Cheers.

    Mark

  • @irishbear76 The didge does that. Linseed oil to stop it cracking unless you start on PVC pipe, like me.

  • You made me laugh out loud - you are very very good. Lovely to wake up to. You ARE getting younger! The hardest part is the circular breathing and you just do that like it's the most natural thing in the world. That hoodie makes you look a bit like a watermelon :-)

  • @missalgernon Not as good as the Native Australians, who never stall. The circular breathing is just taking sips of breath while using my cheeks as a bagpipe reservoir and the tongue to push what air in the bag out like a piston.

  • You and your Didge are Fantastic !

  • @h0mer37 It's beginning to play itself without me.
