On XP just turn on compatibility mode, run in 256 colors, all that fun stuff. Vista and 7 give me a "corrupt" error when I try to run the game.

@Shadikku I've fixed it now, I needed to give it administrator permission so it works now but Like shadow the glitch hog it still runs in full screen and none of the keyboard buttons work, BTW I'm on vista 32-bit

@Shadikku hey man y found the solution for thous who still get the game running in fullscreen even with the program running. Open the program > Right click on the path to the sonicr.exe > click o "Modify" > Where it says "DirectX Versio to Hook" set it to "Automatic". I tried this on my Windows 7 Starter PC and it worked.

@zCr4yGOx Is the disk for Windows 95/98? If it is then I think this is what that guy has. I did the same thing he showed us here, and I have the disk for 95/98 so if that's what you have, then don't worry about it. You already have it. ;D

If you don't have any music but hear other sound effects, it's your computer's fault. Sonic R is an old game, and uses RedBook audio. To make this work, you have to connect certain wires in your computer and then it will work fine.
